He did reference the Qunari, and why they attacked. He mentioned Kirwall a few times as well.lrrose wrote...
No reference to Kirkwall, the qunari or any other DA2 plot point except for Flemeth's task = fake

Because the retail version requires it while the reviewer pre-release version uses SecuROM instead.Bigdoser wrote...
Also if he has the game how can you play it since you have to be connected to the internet to play it? Also as Cruser said why would the whole of thedas br fighting each other if a blight was coming?

The material is of an excellent quality...the story indeed seems to be far too good to be legitimate in the first post, it gets a little more fantastical further down. Bioware should hire this guy either way though

I feel sorry for those of you that actually think this could be true.
It's not impossible that it's true, therefore it could potentially be true. It's just unlikely.

First, that story wouldn't be better because it makes no sense and goes against all Lore and would just be immediate-satisfaction, not any type of actual built up story, plot, plotlines, or connection points.
In any case, the entirety of his post goes against all established lore for Dragon Age.

The German gaming journal that reviewed the game said that if the Warden chose to let Alistair live, they were disappointed that in the entire game, you'd only met him once and have a barely 2 min long dialog with him.
So...would you rather believe a renowned gaming journal or some guy on 4chan?

Indeed this would make a great story imo.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense.
The major loophole is that the Grey Wardens would have sensed Hawke if he was an "Old God" either when they were in Lothering passing by (If Hawke is a mage) or at Ostagar (If Hawke is a warrior / rogue). He would have been spotted DEAD on the spot. Hell, the Darkspawn would've gone nuts over him.
I thought they were connected to the taint (lulz), which corrupted the Old Gods into something the Wardens could sense, not the deities themselves.
That's what the Poster said. the poster talks about how Flemeth tried to remove Hawke as quickly as she could so that the Grey Wardens WOULDN'T sense the old god within him?
I just don't buy it.

He cannot tell the thruth unless Bioware decided to retcon the whole universe. Not only there should be two old gods left and not just one. Anderaste was born nearly 200 years after the first blight startet and a mere decade before it ended. The only reason that she and her husband could fight against the empire was that it was weakend by the 200 years of blight. This poster claims however that the blight was created as punishment for her by the magisters which is impossible unless the whole history gets changed.Upsettingshorts wrote...

His "spoilers" are full of holes. Why would all of Thedas be going to war with eachother if the next blight was happening?
Let's assume for the moment that he is telling the truth - a big assumption, but bear with me. In terms of your specific objection, it can still make sense:
"The entire world on the brink of war" - does not necessarily mean at war with each other but with another greater force, such as that revealed by the spoiler
"Your precious Chantry is falling apart" - would also mesh with this guy's story, given the implications.
That being said, a lot of things would have to fall into place for it to make sense.

- The last Old God (a dragon/spirit) manifests in Hawke throughout the game. At the end of the game he is turned "evil", and you have to fight against the Grey Wardens (or at least that was the ending I got). Most of the game revolves around Hawke realizing that he is going to give birth to the new Blight, and him trying to prevent that from happening.
- There are Fade sequences scattered throughout the entire game. There isn't a huge Fade chunk like in DA1--just small bits throughout the game. Every time Hawke's consciousness enters the Fade, the Fade becomes clearer and more static because of his attunement with the Old Gods. Eventually he becomes so attuned that he is able to enter the Black City. When he enters the Black City it is revealed that the Tevinter Imperium has reestablished itself inside of the Black City. When the magisters went into the Black City, the Tevinter Imperium got attacked/destroyed by Andraste's army, so ever since, the magisters who had entered the Black City prior to the invasion have been remaking a spirit version of the Tevinter Imperium. These magisters are responsible for the Blight, which is their revenge on Andraste's people for destroying the original Imperium.
- Flemeth is a temporary party member in DA2, but ends up being killed by the Grey Wardens from DA1. Throughout the game Flemeth serves as Hawke's guide (because she knows he is possessed by the final dragon Old God), so her death is portrayed as sad in DA2. After she dies, Hawke gains the ability to temporarily transform into his dragon form (think Morrigan's shapeshifting, but actually useful).
bull****.
Probably better story than Bioware one.
This. If those spoilers were true there would be no cries of "weak story but good storytelling." in reviews.

Thats bull, right there we know this is fake. The game doesn't have any big bad evil nor any like trying to prevent a big bad evil.
"When he enters the Black City it is revealed that the Tevinter Imperium has reestablished itself inside of the Black City"
LOL, what a TROLL. Tevinter is still around in the Dragon Age so how does reestablishing itself make any sense if it never fell in the first place.

This is only interesting, "better" and "well-written" because no one knows the details of the real story.
Indeed. Except the part about the Fade. I think I could see myself enjoying that. The rest of the spoilers would require some nifty execution to end up being as compelling as their high concept may sound.
And then theres the lore issues.

Yes, cause your telepathic powers have granted you the ability to see the real story and judge that it is worse than this fake.

All im saying, is Hawke is possessed by something. Weve known that for a while, with the red eyes. This would explain that at least.
That and the demon hands from red-cloud-portal-thingy ripping that qunari apart in the video promo.
