I think it's nice with some balancing modifications. I didn't mean to derail thread. Two Worlds 2 is budget RPG and i tshould stay that way.

I don't think there's any way they would be willing to give the game anything below an 80. It's just like IGN with their reviews of DC Universe Online and Final Fantasy XIII. The negative facts they were listing about the games were pretty deal breaking, but both mediocre games still got high scores anyway. It's how the industry works. Alot of these reviewers would get fired if they gave certain games low scores.ManiacalEvil wrote...
87 is a great score. Not every game will score a 90+-
Gamespot + Kane & Lynch comes to mind. That's true, sadly. I wonder when Giant Bomb's review comes out.

How? it's an opinion, a biased one, but still an opinion. He didnt' say DA2 sucked outright. What's with the cosntant people of declaring "TROLL" when their game is criticised?
In my humble opinion, going on the boards of the company who MADE THE GAME just to bash it is a bit trollish to me.
The purpose of a forum isn't to praise, the purpose of a forum is to share opinions. This is a Dragon AGe 2 forum, opinions can be postive, negative, or both at the same time.

I think you misunderstand. If one person says they can beat it in less time than the other person and we are to assume that both reviewers are telling the truth, that simply indicates that one reviewer spent far more time on it than the other reviewer. Nonetheless, it's very well possible for a person with little to no knowledge of the game mechanics and with an interest in seeing the story, can beat this game in a small amount of time.blubbolo wrote...

now you can stop whining.
But the fact remains that there are 50 hours worth of game there. Regardless, of how long certain people took to play it, we now know that the potential for a 50+ hour playthrough is there.

Is it just me or do all these european reviews strike you as written by more old School RPG fans.
Most of them are small time, or irrelevent enough that they can afford to basically be opinions packaged as reviews.
I'm looking at you eurogamer.

Plus I am seeing wildly different play times. A couple saying 50+, this one saying main quest in 12 - 15.
Again, I will wait for Player reviews, US reviews and my own play experience....

Sounds worrying overall with what they say, although I no longer take game magazine reviews particularly seriously, not after GTA4 was given 10/10.
GTA 4 was awesome. I don't know what you're talking about.

If DA2 only takes you 12-15 hours (on the first play through and don't know where stuff is), you've seriously missed the point of a Bioware RPG.
Mass Effect 2 would like a word with you

Hell you can beat Origins in about that long if you blow through it. Mass Effect 1/2, Oblivion, are all about 12-15 hours if you hate fun.

Again, it doesn't really matters if what you do is all the same.

It's a pretty world, full of life, and not bored because i was mage and warrior at same time. I think Two WOrlds 2 underrated people should try.
I tried it but I cannot see how one should really think that game "full of life". The fact that you can both be a warrior and a mage at the same time doesn't change content. Quests are all the same; you do one you know all the rest.
Then weren't you complaining about DA2 being too "actiony"? TW2 has combos! Now, this is funny.

but I'm saying it looks better visually and it's longer (crap story but thats writting department), why is DA II look like less effor game when it's made by RPG masters, big budget stuff.
Better graphics? TW2? Sometimes I'm amazed at the taste of people. Without entering on this, however, you cannot paragonate the technical design of DA2 to the one of TW2. The models seems drawn from a 5 years old child. I think I can do better models with just my left hand, seriously. I don't know your knowledge on the matter, but, just to be sure, look on an anatomical book, see a drawing made by a child and compare the two. You will immediately notice what's wrong on the technical design of models in TW2.
Oh, well...

I can easily triple the lenght because I like to really take my time. My current playthrough of Origins for importing has taken 70 hours and I haven't even reached Orzammar. I completed ME2 in 47 hours.
Wow , great work, i wonder what do you do all that time though?

And in the same way people say DAO had some hours that were not fun (for me they still were though a little tedious), it may happen to DA2 since it is very dificult to keep the fun constant.
At the end, what do you prefers? I want the longer, even though I will buy this one also.

how can you comment that's it all the same if you haven't played it? How do you comment at all?
Two worlds 2 is colorfull and it looks better. It just does, arrtstyle has nothing to do with it.

Yes, it wants to say that you are only a third of the way through the game.
