The more information that comes to light the more this forums reaction resembles the seven stages of grief and right about now we're past shock and denial up to "Mass Effect 2 took 6 hours" levels of bull**** bargaining.
hahahaha

However I expect certain 'people' on these forums to start shouting down this as EA/Bioware having paid off all the game mags.

Yeah, even in ME2 you spend a large amount of time doing side-quests (and mining, but that's a different issue) Rushing through A Bioware RPG is like trying to win at Paranoia (Tabletop RPG, look it up)Twaddlefish wrote...
If DA2 only takes you 12-15 hours (on the first play through and don't know where stuff is), you've seriously missed the point of a Bioware RPG.

Two worlds 2 took me 50 hours with side-quests.
Again, it doesn't really matters if what you do is all the same.Demo-Mike wrote...
It's a pretty world, full of life, and not bored because i was mage and warrior at same time. I think Two WOrlds 2 underrated people should try.
I tried it but I cannot see how one should really think that game "full of life". The fact that you can both be a warrior and a mage at the same time doesn't change content. Quests are all the same; you do one you know all the rest.
Then weren't you complaining about DA2 being too "actiony"? TW2 has combos! Now, this is funny.Demo-Mike wrote...
but I'm saying it looks better visually and it's longer (crap story but thats writting department), why is DA II look like less effor game when it's made by RPG masters, big budget stuff.
Better graphics? TW2? Sometimes I'm amazed at the taste of people. Without entering on this, however, you cannot paragonate the technical design of DA2 to the one of TW2. The models seems drawn from a 5 years old child. I think I can do better models with just my left hand, seriously. I don't know your knowledge on the matter, but, just to be sure, look on an anatomical book, see a drawing made by a child and compare the two. You will immediately notice what's wrong on the technical design of models in TW2.
Oh, well...
You haven't played all of it yet you know that its all the same and repetetive?
And bioware has huge boobs and small legs, wrong anatomy as well. Anatomy aside, Two Worlds 2 just looks better, i dont think you can deny that.

Mass Effect 2 would like a word with you
Yes, it wants to say that you are only a third of the way through the game.
I beat Mass Effect 2 buddy (I think it shows acheivements on profile does it not?)
Either way, Mass Effect 2 was incredibly short for me, now even reaching the 15 hour mark

This review seems horribly unbalanced, and the result of a rushed playthrough.

I'm only paying attention to the part that states main conflict is Chantry vs Mages
Well, yeah. That's what they told us at the very beginning of development. If you haven't figure that the main conflict of the game is between Magi and Chantry...

This sucks, that sucks, it isn't better than origins but it's good.
Why 87?
Why TC don't post positives?

Well, for me it was a bit over 30 hours.
While I can't say this was the cause of your short playthrough, I would like to take this opportunity to point out that a lot of ME2's prime content was optional.(All the loyalty missions). I really respected it for taht, especially since some major choices were there.

It's not quite like that. But if you want advertising, exclusives etc. You have to stay on good terms with the publishers.
Its an inherently corrupt system.
