I noticed in one of the interviews or developer walkthroughs one of the developers said there is a companion named Bianca. The developer or producer of the game was asked a question like can you change you parties weapons and armor he said " you can't change there armor but you can give them new weapons, rings, belts, etc. Then he said but you cant change Bianca's weapons. Who is Bianca?

It's Varric's crossbow. He named it.

They were talking about Varric's crossbow - named Bianca. Varric is the only companion who won't change their weapon.

Actualy it's a shakespear refrence in both cases. Bianca is a main character in The Taming of the Shrew, a play with a framed narative just like both games.
