With the immense power at his disposal, your choices allow Hawke to become a benevolent dictator of Kirkall, aided by a massive army of obediant dark spawn.

Faced with this threat, an unusual alliance was formed when an Exalted March was declared on Kirkwall, with armies from both Tevinter and even the Qunari.

With a numberless horde at your disposal and your own tremendous power you easily smash the Templars, overpower the mage lords of Tevinter and overcome Quarni cannon barrages until you face off a battalion of elite Andrasti Grey Wardens.

After your victory, Kirkall stands bloodied but triumphant as a new nation spills forth. And thus the beginning of a new Blight.

The last Old God (a dragon/spirit) manifests in Hawke throughout the game. At the end of the game he is turned "evil", and you have to fight against the Grey Wardens (or at least that was the ending I got). Most of the game revolves around Hawke realizing that he is going to give birth to the new Blight, and him trying to prevent that from happening.

- There are Fade sequences scattered throughout the entire game. There isn't a huge Fade chunk like in DA1--just small bits throughout the game. Every time Hawke's consciousness enters the Fade, the Fade becomes clearer and more static because of his attunement with the Old Gods. Eventually he becomes so attuned that he is able to enter the Black City. When he enters the Black City it is revealed that the Tevinter Imperium has reestablished itself inside of the Black City. When the magisters went into the Black City, the Tevinter Imperium got attacked/destroyed by Andraste's army, so ever since, the magisters who had entered the Black City prior to the invasion have been remaking a spirit version of the Tevinter Imperium. These magisters are responsible for the Blight, which is their revenge on Andraste's people for destroying the original Imperium.

- Flemeth is a temporary party member in DA2, but ends up being killed by the Grey Wardens from DA1. Throughout the game Flemeth serves as Hawke's guide (because she knows he is possessed by the final dragon Old God), so her death is portrayed as sad in DA2. After she dies, Hawke gains the ability to temporarily transform into his dragon form (think Morrigan's shapeshifting, but actually useful).

- The second half of the game starts after Hawke gets to the Black City. The Fade's demons realize that the Maker is not in the Black City, so they attack the Imperium, causing chaos all across the Fade. This causes most of Thedas to stop dreaming; most people are unable to sleep or stay asleep, and as a result everyone is starting to go crazy. Civil wars start in Ferelden, and because the Imperium is under attack, their Darkspawn army goes out of control.

- During this chaos, part of the Darkspawn horde, who has found free will now that the Imperium is under attack, decides to join up with Hawke's forces.

- One DLC that is already in the console version of the game allows you to get a Darkspawn ally, Iblis. He pretty much looks like a detailed Darkspawn with horns and a typical demon tail, and his weapon is a scythe.

- The Imperium, overwhelmed with demons, tries to make a deal with the demons: The Imperium offers the demons a permanent tear in the Fade so that they can pass between the Fade and the real world, if the demons will ally with the Imperium. The demons agree, the Imperium magisters tear open a rift between the Fade/Thedas, and then the demons and Imperium begin to attack Thedas together. So basically, the second half (and finale) of Dragon Age is:

Fade Demons/Spirits + Tevinter Imperium
vs
Hawke's Party + Darkspawn + Old Gods + Alistair's armies (Alistair is king in the second half of DA2; they made that canon)

The unicorns are so pretty. Look at me, I'm a elf. Trees are pretty. Tra la la!

Anyways, speculation does not help, especially if from 4chan as cited under Article 9, Subarticle 23, Clause 51 of "The Rules of Speculation"

It's speculation, nothing more.

But in saying that, you are in essence spoiling the game as you are confirming that none of that happens.;)

No, I'm saying that at least some (or all) of what he's talking about is garbage, so it's pretty clear that it's made up.

But the title says "no spoilers" and that's what this is -- speculation isn't spoiling.

Speculation:

I believe Hawke will have to eat his own dog to survive the frigid cold when he forgets to wear his fur-armor in the (apparently) cold environment of the wasteland.
