• I just played the DA2 demo and when I tried to run at max settings DX11 @1920x1200 it was unplayable. When I dropped down to medium quality the game became playable at 60-70 fps. My hardware is as follows:
• Intel i7-920 @2.67 ghz
• Evga mobo x58
• 6gb corsair xms3 ram
• Evga geforce 570gtx
• Hanns-g 28" monitor @1920x1200
• Logitech z-5500
• OCZ modstream 500w PSU
• At the high quality setting the game is unplayable and some textures appear black and distorted occasionally. I don't know if its the demo but I don't have any problem running any other software considering the power of my components. The one theory hardware wise I have is my PSU may be too weak, I just upgraded my GPU from a gtx275. Other than that I am wondering if it's the demos optimization?

Ok, I just read the part about DX11 being broken in the demo. Now I don't feel so bad.

The demo was made from an older version of the game, one in which DX11 does not work properly. If you turn the game back to default medium settings everything should work right.
