Of all the cities to feature in ME3, they do it in London.

I personally hated Britain when I went on vacation there because it is one of the most depressing places to live on the planet. Why not do it in a city that I'd WANT to save, like Toronto or Paris?

Honestly, if the option to let London be destroyed but save the planet exists, I WILL TAKE IT!

Cmon Bioware, you are a Canadian company, feature a Canadian city!

They're not making the game to suit your personal taste. Go pout.

London is the obvious choice. Where else would Shepard find a giant clock tower to shove up a Reaper's ass?

Because Boris Johnson Loves Mass Effect and he paid EA to have ME3 feature London. Great for UK Tourism!!

Note: The accuracy of that statement is potentially very low.

Because people know the Big Ben! they know its London. The point is that the people who watch the trailer recognize the city. Im sure Toronto has its famous buildings too, but I for one dont know any of em...so I wouldnt have recognized Toronto.

And what the hell would you save Paris for ?!
:D

Uhhh.....yeah, they really don't need to bother. People don't seem to realise that the US and UK essentially share the same media. Same music, same TV shows, same movies, same games.

The Reapers are a little out of date on their Earth history and think the British Empire is still going strong? It must be quite hard to keep track of primary invasion targets from another galaxy and until recently we were totally off the reapers radar compared to the other council races. Face it, reapers know bugger all about humans, that's why we're so important.

Why not London ? just because you have some personal beef with the UK doesn't mean everyone else feels that way. Personally I felt it was a nice change to see a city outside the US getting smacked down. I mean seriously who isn't tired of the big bad aliens attacking the US in nearly every single game/film/book.

Toronto? Reapers destroy the CN Tower or the Air Canada Centre (home of the Maple Leafs)!

Bioware is in Edmonton, Alberta so having Toronto Ontario destroyed could start some inter-provincial relations crisis. :)

IMO it makes sense cos Britain's an island. If they really want to continue what they were doing with humans in ME2 they'll need a secure base of operations...

Need I explain more?

Why would you need an island for a base when you have giant spaceships?

Well, form my point of view... speaking as an Englishman, I'm rather excited to see my home turf getting trashed, not least because every time I've been to London I found it to be, in my opinion, a toilet... :P

Yes but the point is...If somebody says to me out of nothing..."Hey draw the Cn tower in Toronto"...then I simply cant because I have no clue how that building looks. And Im damn sure a ****load of people who watched the Teaser wouldnt know too. Sooo they wouldnt know its Toronto and wouldnt be able to draw the conclusion..."Hey thats Earth!"

But everybody knows the Big Ben...may it be from School (History, Geography, english class), the news,  from 100s of movies, music videos or tv shows....

So you're assuming London is featured in ME3 because of a teaser trailer?

And if the reapers go ULLAH as they destroy London, I shall be a very happy bunny indeed...

Er, not that I think Bioware are referencing the alien invasion scenario, but if they were, they might as well go back to the almost-first bit of fiction that featured it, gawd rest HG Wells's's's's soul.
