Actually it was the OP who stated he hated it here it is a depressing place to live having only been on vacation mind..... <_<
And it was followed up by some quite racist stuff that at least one of the posters deleted (but can still be seen in '' ''s near the front page) because they realised (admittedly after being told a few times) that what they put was unacceptable. I don't recall anyone saying Americans suck (read ALL my comments and tell me I said that..... In fact I am fairly sure I have put it on record that I love America and Americans, so maybe wind you neck in there a bit, lol ) Quite a few Americans have stated that they find it refreshing that it isn't America being trashed in the trailer  that isn't saying America sucks either........... Canada caught more flack (from Canadians) and Paris for that matter, something I didn't get involved in cos it would be racist. It isn't ALL about America you know....

I guess because London is going to be one of the most popular cities by the time the game will come out ?
Seriously,ME3 will come out at the last days of 2011,and at 2012 the world will be looking at London for the Olympic Games.

16 pages and nobody has figured out that the reason London is attacked is because Shepard isn't the true threat; the true threat is James Bond. The guy CAN'T DIE! He's been put in life threatening situations since the 60's and not only has he not aged but he has a body count 4x that of Shepard's and hes escaped traps that would kill every human.

hehe I remember when we had the Olympics at my country (Greece).
But there was a special case at 2004 and not many people came to watch the games here. <_<
You could see 70% of the seats at the stadiums to be empty.
It's because CNN was spreading b******t rumours that Al Quaeda is going to attack the people who will be watching the games,saying that somebody shouldn't go to watch them without a group of private security guards around him.

Anyway,let's put bull***t aside,I think it is a common habit of game companies to feature in their games cities that make the Olympics.
For example I remember at 2004 the game "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2" came out and had a level featuring the Parthenon.

We went to America exactly two months after 9/11 (which of course was 11/11 so remembrance day here too) we could have cancelled, a lot of holiday companies were giving refunds to people unwilling to travel... There was no way that terrorists were going to get the better of us and scare us out of travelling f*ck that........... <_<
It wouldn't have stopped me visiting Greece either, it is one of the countries on my list to visit  actually (weakness for dark haired and hairy men  Lol!) Seriously though would love to visit Greece - so much history, so beautiful and Greek food..........

I think Escape From New York and Escape From LA are classed as Sci Fi too  From the futuristic element perspective, and at least it certainly showed a dystopic view of both cities so is relevant as an example if we are talking ruined landscape and so on

I don't really care where or why the Reapers are invading, as long as I can go there and stop them. One city is as good as another. I've already blown up Germany, UK, France, Australia, Canada, USA, China, Japan, Russia, and many other countries in various video games. Might as well do UK again.

Agreed. Idiocy is a global problem.

I thought I read some stuff about Americans being dumber or something and some other off hand comments/insinuations. But then again I was reading two or three threads at once and I'm tired, maybe I got mixed up on which posts were from which threads (I was not referring specifically to your posts). Theres a few members here who are quite vocal in their FOTM country hating. I don't claim to be an american but the hate and ribbing they get these days is out of control (I'm against most kinds of "singling out to pick on" scenarios).

I still find the "it's all racist" thing amusing though. I can't help it. When will people learn to stop being both so offensive and stop being easily offended (again, not you, just social commentary there).
