I would have LOVED to see a Canadian city featured in the trailer but the game is 200 years in the future and i doubt the only sort-of recognizable landmark in Toronto (CN Tower) prob wouldn't be standing in 200 years. Hell i bet they will demolish that thing within the century if it aint blown up before then. But heres hoping we will see something Canadian in the finale game maybe Canada becomes the Earth command or something for the humans and we will get to go there to head up the counter attack. Im just happy they didn't show some overused American city. I guess that could still happen in the game tho... i really hope not. London was a great choice tho but i woulda loved to see a Canadian city as there has NEVER been a Canadian city featured in a major game. I'd be even happier if we got a squad mate who was from Canada and we got to learn more about what happened to the country in the two hundred years since present time. And to then learn about the whole United North American States or w/e that ended up being Canada, USA, and Mexico and all the people who resisted and tried to prevent that from happening who where then killed or w/e. (don't gotta link but there is a codex entry that mentions some of this that u obtain in the Kasumi DLC when u get the Locust SMG) Hell the way things are going right now it looks like it might actually happen to the real Canada in a couple decades or even sooner.



lol idk i just don't like the idea of being absorbed into the US and i wanna learn a lot more about how that all happened in the game universe and we will learn hopefully sometime during ME3. Seems like the only time Canada is mentioned significantly in a game is when it get annexed or absorbed by the US (mass effect and fallout) well heres hoping we get to learn more

I admit, I made really stupid comment.
Can't we just forget about it?

So you hate Brits becuase of the blood the British empire has spilled, but you overlook Germanys past, like WW1 and 2?

I will drop it, but you shouldn't be so quick to jude everyone in a country by some of it's governments actions. There are plenty of Brits who have done great things for the world. There's saints and jerks in every country of the world, we are all human after all, you cant hate Imperialism and forget the fact there are people in every country just like you.

Naah, we Germans hate ourselves enough so everybody else doesn't have to. Believe me, the worst opinion you're going to get about Germany is from a German. Aren't we a lovely people? Also, WW1 isn't exactly our fault (as much as the victors may like to believe that).

Lol. All the Germans I have meet are all really nice people, bitter about their history a bit, yes, lol..

I'm actually related to some Germans, my auntie is from there. And I was born in Berlin, in a British military base though, lol.

It's how we're raised...20th century was a **** for us, and guilt has been a dominant part of the collective German character ever since.

I really don't know why people have a problem with it being London featured in the trailer.  I thought it made a nice change from the baddies attacked the US yet again.  I am sure everyone would love to have their country/city featured in a Mass Effect trailer but that obviously isn't possible.  They choose London, the trailer was cool (hell it probably won't even feature London in the game) and that is all there is to it really.

But I do agree with the OP that London is a most depressing place to work (having worked there) and live unless you've oodles of money...

I'm far from rich, but London is one of the best places I have ever lived, and I have lived in plenty of citys, and five different countries. There's so much culture in London, it's brilliant. The only thing I hate about the UK is the weather, thats when I miss living in Cyprus, lol.

I'm living in London right now (Chelsea) and i think it's a wonderful city. Though i hope to move back to St Petersburg one day, i'm really happy here, and actually like weather.



Architecturally it's a really interesting city, because it's so old. There really isn't anything like it in North America.
