They need a backdrop that viewers will be emotionally attached to because it looks familiar. Everyone has seen Big Ben and the London Eye, and knows they are in England and are well-known and famous landmarks, and will grab their attention when they see them in flames with Reapers landing all around them.

It's high time people let go of stupid attitudes...... and ignorance is no excuse, some people should learn to keep their thoughts to themselves. Still it is just the stupid minority, most people are pretty cool on here imoVal Seleznyov wrote...

Well this has been a very dumb experience. And I mean it. This thread became a blight. Racism... dammit, I thought people here would never fall that low as to hurt on other fellow forumites. And I guess the topic is also lost for good too.
It's not unexpected for me. I've been subjected to a ridiculous amount of anti-Russian sentiment by certain members of this forum.

Yeah, it's just a muse. I'm not that good at writing sci-fi, so yeah. XD Plus, I based my sci-fi story off of Mass Effect, so I'll just dump my plot in the trash and let Bioware tell the story. lol

Shepard: ....okay. Stay on course to Ilium.
That's why not Paris.

The reason it takes place in London is because in the final battle, Harry Enfield will rise from the dead and beat the Reapers to death with his wads of Dosh, all while screaming "LOADSAMONEY".
...Right?

Nobody likes the French, France or anything in it.
Well not really, it's kind of a joke the whole world has going at France's expense. There's no actual hostility, just friendly ribbing.

It isn't just the USA and UK who mock France. You remember that annoying ugly kid in class that nobody liked, but always managed to hang out with the cool kids just so they had somebody to make fun of? That kid who's only contribution to the school was as comedic relief? That's France in the UN.Llama11 wrote...

This thread is kind of weird when you think about it. People fighting over the honour of having their favourite cities be destroyed by aliens.
That is odd. I mean, we should be together against the Reapers, yet we're going "No! Destroy us first! Destroy us!!"
Unless this is a clever ploy of pulling a Lilly Potter by dying for the other cities so that our love would protect them.
*gasp* Clever!!

I think that is just amazing lol.
Well it is just a teaser trailer but as some people have shown there has been a lot of games and movies based for the united states. I believe it is a good way to get something more unique shown to the game and increase more player base around the world.
