Delay this brainless button masher, take 6 months to give it some depth!

Sometimes I have to wonder what people perceive as depth.
You consider running a straight line (ie: on rails) while button mashing your way through hordes of way too easy enemies and near limitless spellcasting depth?
Seriously, the sequel to the rich and deep Dragon Age: Origins turned into a dumb action game, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah because Origins and awakening totally didn't reuse places.Typical Forum Sycophant wrote...

Take your behavior elsewhere where it is more excuseable -- like elementary school.

I will, if Bioware gives us something substantial to play.
Well, I think you're mistaking the limited view we got of the game in the demo for the entire game; I doubt Bioware would have made the game if it didn't tell the story they wanted to tell, the way they chose to tell it.

Dragon Age Origins and Awakening reused a lot of the environments, combat was clunky, fun but clunky, and just like DAII we right click for our autoattack.

You played a demo and by that you judged a whole game? When the combat is already better then it was in DA:O. If your playing on PC you click ONE BUTTON.

You do know the purpose a demo is a presentation for the consumer to decide whether he/she wants to buy the product or not right?
Seriously, stop pulling this argument out of your ass, it doesn't make sense.

you do know you can auto attack right? FACEPALM.
Umm... I hope you're joking right? I mean, you really want to use that? That's like auto-aim in First Person Shooters: takes out all the challenge and skill that makes games fun!

sigh, i cant wait til the game is out. Maybe then the flood of idiots that cant form a logical argument as to why the game sucks will stop.

I can't wait 'til the game is out so I can be playing it instead of anxiously hanging around the forums. My forehead is getting sore.

I haven't even played the game yet and I already noticed that the place in the demo where you help Isabella is the same as the Magister's house in the quest were you meet Fenris (Laidlaw video).TheCreeper wrote...

Yeah, that's what he meant.
I'd also like to see NPCs doing things other than stand frozen in place doing nothing or reuse the "same kneeling down and reaching for something" animations over and over. Have one NPC be drinking, eating food, examining something closely, play an instrument, things that make towns actually feel lively. It was especially jarring in the Camp in Origins to see your companions doing nothing. They could have had Sten practicing bladework, Morrigan idly sitting down by herself facing away from her companions, Wynne doing grandmotherly things, Leliana messing with her lute, Oghren sitting on a stump drinking, it just would have made things more immersive for me. Yeah these are really petty, minor complaints but eh.
