Delay this brainless button masher, take 6 months to give it some depth!

Yeah because Origins and awakening totally didn't reuse places.

Source of video to see the same place?

Maybe. It's also close to midterms, so college people's brains are fried.

I highly doubt a Bar and Magister's house look exactly the same, similar maybe, but I doubt the same.Typical Forum Sycophant wrote...

No, but it is normal (or at least expected) for console gamers to disagree with this thread.
And people, not trolls, get more worried, especially when the demo cements their fears rather than alleviates them.

Based on my Bungie forum experience, it's par for the course.

I am a PC gamer, and if this game was delayed 6 months, i would personally go over to your house and make you wish you never posted such a stupid suggestion

Except its not a brainless button mashing, as there is infact zero mashing of buttons involved. PC gamer btw. Infact most reviewers said the combat has more depth, not less.
but hey you're just (badly) trolling.

Umm... I hope you're joking right? I mean, you really want to use that? That's like auto-aim in First Person Shooters: takes out all the challenge and skill that makes games fun!
Wait... you don't like button mashing AND you don't like an auto-attack system? Pray-tell, what DO you like?

Sometimes I have to wonder what people perceive as depth.
You consider running a straight line (ie: on rails) while button mashing your way through hordes of way too easy enemies and near limitless spellcasting depth?
Seriously, the sequel to the rich and deep Dragon Age: Origins turned into a dumb action game, nothing more, nothing less.
Actually I see nothing different when comparing both DA and DA2. You do realize the demo used a TUTORIAl mission right? I remember a LOT of walking in a set path on the Noble Warden start. Hell the Demo isnt even using the full mission.
And button smashing? Are you playing console? The console demo has the autoattack option disabled until the full game.
Really people. Depth? Explain to me what depth is. Everyone seems to think its something different.

What this guy said. The auto attack feature is disabled in the demo until the full game. It is also only having the first part of the game the prologue playable and then the fight where you meet with Isabela the first time available. It's not meant to be the full game. It's meant to show you how the battle system works and how the characters are and stuff. Geez give people a demo and they get all stupid and angry over nothing.Nashiktal wrote...

Mate, what you chattin bout. Even in DAO you had to button mash at some points. Like at the start of the game when you had no spells/talents.
How can button mash if auto attack is on and your 1/2 spells are on their 8/10 seconds cd?
What buttons are being mashed?

So you were entirely happy with the demo? Its sub-standard graphics, the fact that mages have barely any restrictions for casting spells (recover too fast from casting and radius spells don't damage your own party), the effortless cutting through enemies as if they weren't even there, the fact that the challenge is no longer in clever use of all your party member's skills but in the amount of enemies thrown at you?

Maybe he was hoping we could telepathically control our characters...wait, that's too easy. Okay...maybe he was hoping we'd have to use the flight controls of a 747? Scratch that - too much button-mashing involved there I imagine....yeah, no idea what he thinks a good alternative is.

Perhaps quasi-real time battle system like Fable would be more his alley?
