I tend to button smash all the time, even with it's completly unnecessery...
I also turn right or left with my controlers when I want my cars to turn faster, and that's before the wii, of course.
Am I the only one who LIKES the button mashing?

I love the new combat style for DA2. Given the fact that auto-attack is a toggle in the retail version it will give me the option to get "hands on" in boss fights by "button mashing" and still be tactical when i want by going auto-attack with pause and play.

ya know in DAO you had to button mash it just seems like you gotta do it more now becuase the dont auto attack when you tell your character to once.

There is no button mashing. If you mean not having auto attack on with console demos and thinking thats button mashing, you're an idiot, you're opinion is invalid and kindly gtfo.

I can see why one might like the button mashing if they're just controlling Hawke. It's pretty lame if trying to micromanage the party though. So different styles of play and toggles ahoy.

WHAT BUTTON MASHING!? wheres the freaking difference to DAO? You press a button for your ability in DA2 just like in DAO.

When I sing I move my head up or down to match the pitch of the tune.

I hate the button mashing, in the retail PS3 version, I will be toggling Auto-Attack to on... I hope that will make the combat gameplay feel better to me... sadly this is untestable with the current PS3 demo.

I like tactical combat (Demon's Souls) and button mashing (Dynasty Warriors). Do you know what that makes me?

I like the combat, but I will be using Auto-Attack for some reason...

Yes, but i still like to tactically control everything when it comes to large battles, and i'm on a console. If it's just you as Hawke slashing everything all the time throughout the game it would get VERY tedious VERY quickly.

I think button mashing is optional, I do like the the reactivity of pressing the button.

Played the demo on PC, it's not a button masher at all.
