Hi,
I have not been able to connect to the Dragon Age server. After playing around with opening various ports, I finally turned off my firewall, and was able to connect! I'm guessing this means I still need to add more ports - can anyone list for me ALL of the ports necessary to ensure connection to the server? I'd hate to have to turn off my firewall completely every time I play this game.

Sounds like maybe you need to forward your ports? If you google around you'll find a bunch of different guides on how to do it.

The problem is not caused by incoming connections, but of outgoing connections - a real firewall filters both directions. port forwarding is a thing with NAT, and completely useless in this case.
What i need are the port ranges the game uses to connect to bioware/ea.
