I just want to look good lol and i completed quest for vigil needs .

I try both and i didnt like how  i save Amaranthine, and Sigrun was with me so you all know what goin to happen
if i help the architect .
If i leave  Vigil and let Sigrun stay she will die aswell ( this suck) lol
ANY ideas for making it  perfect?

Yes is your answer.
It seems like many people save Amaranthine if they've upgraded the Vigil all the way. The Vigil is a fortress and Amaranthine isn't. I would recommend saving the city first, then play again and save the Vigil just for the experience.

The cutscene when leaving Amaranthine's not very nice :(

Yes I had to upload that part cause it's an emotional scene.  Posted Image

Save Amaranthine! But take Sigrun with you...if you like her.

I save Amaranthine each time. The Vigil is fully upgraded and can take the punishment. Also, where you sent the soldiers can have an impact as well.

Depends on what type of character I am playing.

All but 2 of my characters have saved amaranthine and fully upgraded the vigil. Only chumps never get all upgrades

All my characters but one has saved Amaranthine while having an upgraded VK. The only one who didn't was a character who was a pragmatist and thought it better to go backa nd fight at the keep.

It must be said, though I prefer saving both the city and the keep, the battle for the Keep is more well-done/exciting than the one for the city (which seem kinda dull in comparison). Hearing the Disciple general being irritated at his troops for not even having managed to bring down the walls yet gives me a sorta warm, fuzzy feeling ("Hah! You underestimated both me, my forces AND the keep I built, sucker!")

The battle for Vigil's Keep is about 1,000,000 times more fun and exciting than saving Amaranthine though, IMO.

I always save Amaranthine. Both the city and fortress will be rebuilt if you do and the epilogue says that basically people throw money at the Wardens for saving the city

The people at the fortress knew what risks they were taking by joining/serving Gray Wardens, but the people in Amaranthine are civilians so I do my best to save them

If you pay attention, most of the civilians are killed and those that survived are now infected (according to the guards ouside the gates of Amaranthine). So all that remains are a few survivors in the chantry and mostly left over milita.
So keep on saving the city of the lost if you want. The entire game you build up the keep, reinforce it have allies there and for what to loose it and the stronghold of the military force in the region?
I personally save the Vigil, and burn the city.

Afterwards you're told that surprisingly only a few got infected.

And that if you upgrade the keep all the way and do everything there it takes weeks before the darkspawn even get past the front gates.

I saved Amaranthine but doing either makes me feel bad. It's my companion NPCs' lives versus innocent lives.
Hope this won't transfer to DA2.

I thought they were more capable of defending themselves, but they were all dead in the epilogue. :?
I guess I will try saving the keep next time, the battle is more exciting too aye?

They are capable of defendin themselves if u go Amaranthine way n everything's built up on the keep, but if u decide to do go the Vigil route then they're pleased that you came bk for them too.  As far as how exciting the battle is, I
have no clue, I can't get past the east gate quest. The quest won't update so I'm not sure about the excitement.

If you just want to look good in the epilogue, then Amaranthine.

True if you want to look good in front of the nobles that didn't want you there, alright.
But in making yourself look good, you abandon the teammates that you conscripted, the ones that gave up everything to join your cause and you just turn your back on them?
Vigil in my opinion is more like the backbone, Amaranthine is more like a run down flea market.

I tried both in my playthroughs but I never was able to finish the vigil part. It was bugged because the mobs spawned outside of the city. I was quite disappointed.
