if you go bk to Vigils Keep n let Amaranthine burn your companions are grateful to see you n very glad
I guess I will try saving the keep next time, the battle is more exciting too aye?
They are capable of defendin themselves if u go Amaranthine way n everything's built up on the keep, but if u decide to do go the Vigil route then they're pleased that you came bk for them too. As far as how exciting the battle is, I
have no clue, I can't get past the east gate quest. The quest won't update so I'm not sure about the excitement.
If you choose the correct companions to go with you to Amaranthine and the Vigil is fully upgraded no one needs to die. If you save the Vigil someone is guaranteed to die. After having done both I still prefer to save Amaranthine. The Vigil fight seemed like pointless running back and forth. The scene after the final boss fight in the city is quite moving, too. Screw the nobles, do it for Nate's sister and the Blight Orfens! Plus it's fun to be all: "Suicide mission? I guess that must be me." *Marches determinedly out of Vigil*

Um teammates don't die if you do it right, I've never had a companion die n I've always saved Amaranthine
It's not only a question about doing it right it's also a question about which companions you leave behind. Sigrun will die. Justice will "die". Velanna will sort of die. Nathaniel, Anders or Oghren will not if the Keep is upgraded.

I try both and i didnt like how i save Amaranthine, and Sigrun was with me so you all know what goin to happen
if i help the architect .
If i leave Vigil and let Sigrun stay she will die aswell ( this suck) lol
ANY ideas for making it perfect?

If Sigrun rebels when you spare the Architecht you probably don't have enough persuasion. If so a Manual of Focus from Herren can remedy that. But if you befriend Sigrun (complete her quest and get her approval high enough to get the talk about the future) I think the persuasion option is an automatic pass so that should work too.
I will try then thank you i guess i need to bring Justice with me to for saving Amaranthine.

I left Justice behind and don't remember it telling me that he died, but even though I couldn't find Oghren and Anders for the whole game, they still died. I haven't beat the expansion yet so I don't know my epilogue, but I'm still wondering if a fully upgraded Keep *can* defend itself, or if my game was bugged. I get the feeling from posts here that sending certain people back to the Keep will make them die, so is it actually possible to save both in one playthrough?
