I had no idea that this staff would be the weapon weilded in the Destiny trailer. Initially, I just brushed the item off as a kind of hype/gimmick thing, but now I want it. Is it too late to obtain a code?

I assume you could download it (for a price) when the game comes out. Don't see why they wouldn't allow you to do this.

I just signed up for the newsletter, on both pages, for the staff and the belt and both are now sitting happily in my Registered Game Promotions tab for all platforms.

Actually, the staff looks like it can still be gotten from the DA II website, just go under the game info and it should have a page for it that you sign in on your EA account that has signed up for the newsletter to get it.

I will be missing that, plus the Irons Belt that is EA store exclusive, and probably the Ashes Amulet, although from what I've heard is going on with Play.com, I'll glady give up the amulet for the SE edition stuff. I preordered from Gamestop.
