Questions you have always wanted to ask about RPGs...

1. The absence regular human functions: eating, drinking, bathing, bathroom, etc..
2. Carrying enormous amounts of inventory in little or no packs.
3. Immortality through rezzing, reviving after battle, etc..
4. No permanent battle damage as in, armor and weapons do not become visibly worn and avatars don't develop cumulative scarring. Especially flame damage!
5. NPCs that can't be targeted or killed (essential to story progression or morally questionable targets like children.)
6. Insta-spawns. Entering an area and enemies miraculously appear from around a corner where nothing was present before.
7. Swimming in full plate armor.
8. Endless quivers, or other weapons that use expendable ammunition.
9. Unrealistic levels of damage soaking. No one shot kills.
10. NO PIE!

How come I can fit a quarterstaff, a two handed broadsword and a cross bow in my pocket and still walk normally?

I'm going on the scooby doo explanation myself. Light and mirrors.

Fallout 3 is the only RPG with interactive toilets. I accidentally drank out of a very dirty one on one occasion. I clicked interact, and watched in horror as my character helplessly drank out of the +20 Rads toilet.

Why can a character not walk through dense brush or trees....its not like they don't have swords, axes and fire spells...you would think trees would bend before the might of a really cranky berzerker just the same as a lumberjack
I read that as "you would think trees would bend before the might of a really cranky berzerker just the same as a lumberjack[would bend before the might of a really cranky berzerker]." I like my reading better.
What happens to the bodies of the dead creatures?

why does the little creature carry cash? (not all but some games)
To add to that, why does a demon carry cutlery?

What with all the nudity and lovemaking scenes, doesn't a character ever get pregnant?
My wife was named Prostitute and my son was named Bastard. I'm a bad person.
EDIT: In my defense, she was indeed a prostitute.
Prostitutes were the only at least semi-attractive woman in the game.

Why do so many things "block" me from passing? Why can't I jump the 3foot fence, or break open the door, or climb the wall, or blow it up etc etc.?
