Seriously! Ever since Dragon Age: Origins, I've thought to myself "OMFG BIOWARE MAKE DRAGON AGE AN MMORPG PLOX!". I think that if they did, it would be a huge success and possibly even a "WoW killer". They got an amazing story line, and great graphics to go along! Anyone else with me here?!

There already busy with Star Wars the old republic I can't imagine them doing this. They don't want to contend with there selfs.

Is the KotOR MMO not enough? Developing two MMO's at the same time would kill Bioware.

It would probably make a good fiction for an MMO. Of course the swords and wizards market there is a little on the over saturated side of things.

Personally, I'd rather keep the Dragon Age series in the single player RPG realm because the story is so strong. Mass Effect on the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing an MMORPG of.

Only if I can play as a female qunari Ben-Hasrath whose only abilities are a variety of screams and insults since she doesn't actually use a weapon. Oh yeah, and stealth. She can runaway from anything.

I don't think that'd be a very good idea.

While I would love to see a little multiplayer implemented, this is usually at the cost of tactiful depth. Therefore, no go for me.

If they want to kill their new franchise, then yes an MMO would be just the thing.

As much as I would LOVE a DA mmo, it won't happen for at least another 10 years (SWTOR's expected lifespan)

Hopefully by then the fantasy genre will regain its popularity, what with so many more games coming out for sci-fi.

You forgot that new race, I forgot what it's called but it starts with an F
It would be much more sandboxy than SWTOR, since your class would actually be just an archetype but you could build up your character with whatever spells/skills you wanted.  There would be different organizations/specializations to join and they would give you bonuses, such as GWs giving you bonus damage to darkspawn, templars giving you magic resistance and +dmg to mages, apostates opening up new schools of magic etc.  There should be a lot of political play involved, such as players allying themselves with cities/countries and sabotaging the enemy, helping your faction reach greater power in the world.  OMG I totally want this.....too bad it won't happen :pinched:
