LOL if Bioware did make DA an MMO, think about what that would do to this forum. It's bad enough the amount of people complaining about the changes with DA2. With the amount of changes that would be needed to make DA work as an MMO there would be murder.
No need for DA MMORPG. There is WoW. Try beat that.

in a perfect world..where competing with their own MMO TOR wouldn't hurt them.
in a perfect world...where turning it into an MMO wouldn't KILL it as a single player RPG.
however it's anything but a perfect world..so..
no.

I'd definitely kill some time in a Mass Effect MMO, just very sure it could never be as epic as Mass Effect itself.
I'm pretty sure a Dragon Age MMO would lose the flavor of DA over time, after seeing the whole map of Thedas after release of DA, I went...cor blimey that looks like perfect MMO territory for me, but I think I prefer it as a large canvas for well told stories.
To be honest, TOR's not going to do BW many favors. I can't say why I think that, I just have a certain knowledge. Unless some drastic changes are made in the period of the most recent push back of release dates, its going to be less than most people hoped for, in my opinion.

Dealing with 20 or so, racist/chauvinistic/homophobic douchebags, while you spend 3-4 hours a night attempting a raid encounter; I don't want that in a Dragon Age game.

Hell no, this is what I wanted World of Warcraft to be like, an in depth single player experience.

aw you mean you don't want to random PuG a heroic deep roads once a day to farm some form of badge/emblem/points to get pretty gear?
you don't want some addon telling you when the Broodmother is about to use her AE tentacle strike? All the while being kicked out of groups because you can't pull x-dps?
why wouldn't you want that?????

No. Just no. MMOs need to GTFO and stop ruining good franchises *cough* bitter about SW: TOR *cough*
I am looking forward to SW:ToR very much
That said, I don't want a DA MMORPG at all. There are plenty phantasy MMO's out there, we don't need another one, I don't think there would be a market for it at all.

Playable Races:

I see it and its looking GREAT!
You forgot that new race, I forgot what it's called but it starts with an F
It would be much more sandboxy than SWTOR, since your class would actually be just an archetype but you could build up your character with whatever spells/skills you wanted. There would be different organizations/specializations to join and they would give you bonuses, such as GWs giving you bonus damage to darkspawn, templars giving you magic resistance and +dmg to mages, apostates opening up new schools of magic etc. There should be a lot of political play involved, such as players allying themselves with cities/countries and sabotaging the enemy, helping your faction reach greater power in the world. OMG I totally want this.....too bad it won't happen
The Fex.
And to the original poster, please dear god, I hope not. Making DA an MMORPG will make me want to kill myself. I don't want my game ruined by other people and the neanderthals that still have the audacity to call themselves ****** sapiens. God I can't believe how stupid the world is getting, a 15 year old girl asked me what an athlete was once. OK, rant over.

Exactly, although the old days of being in 40 man MC, and just putting the MT on follow, and going away for an hour or so was a good laugh.Suron wrote...

On a purely selfish level as someone who doesn't enjoy MMOs, I don't want to see Bioware channeling resources that could be used for another single player DA game into an MMO instead.
