I went into the demo thinking that Carver would be my least favorite character, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually did like him. I instantly fell in love with Aveline, we will be home girls. *fistbump* Varric's awesome, come on. You can't deny it. Also surprise with Isabella, and I quite like her as well.
So drum roll please, I actually dislike Bethany. It's not even just that she's my least favorite of the characters that I've been introduced to so far, I just don't like her. So I guess that means my favorite character is the ogre that kills her...?

Isabella is my least favourite but even then I actually do like her in the demo.

Carver is by far the dullest character I've seen so far. It's nice that he was at Ostagar, but he hasn't said anything notable beyond that unlike Bethany in conversations. He's the older whinney little brother I never wanted. I rather have Jacob or Carth over Carver now. I'm hoping that changes in the future. Hell, give me Fergus Cousland over Carver.

I feel the exact opposite of this. I'm looking forward to Carver, but to me, it's Bethany that has never stood out. So far, to me, she's seemed bland and like she doesn't have much character. I know we don't know much in the way about any of the companions, but she seems especially lacklustre from what we've seen.

Bethany is also my answer to the OP. I'm just completely disinterested in her.

Can't say I was a big Anders fan in DA:A, but I'm not really a fan of the joking type characters in most games. Holding off on a least/most favorite character until I've played the game two or three times however.

From what I've seen/read though, Fenris seems like the character I'm least likely to enjoy, followed by Anders. But no way to know until we've played with'em, right?

Carver atm. For a long time i didn't even realise he was a main companion, i thought he was just a fill-in character like the 2 other warden wannabes.
It's not that he's bad, he really doesn't say or do much in the demo, even wesley has more character than carver. Im sure that will change for the full version, but as it stands he's my least favourite.

Without a doubt Fenris, then Merrill. They both look like Final Fantasy characters (to me), and sticks out like there was no tomorrow.

I'll agree with you there... I think I may just have a Hawke/Fenris romance on one playthrough now....

Back on topic: based on the 0000.1% of knowledge I currently have I'd say... Bethany. Her voice grates on my nerves, but I can forgive that if she has an awesome personality

I don't dislike any of them yet, but Bethany interests me least. Probably because I mostly play mages so she'll have little bearing on most of my playthrough (not alive, anyway). And I wasn't really feeling anything from her in the demo.

Yes, I believe it's on a separate skill tree to 2-h skills.

At this point it has to be anders, didn't care for him in awakenings, now we get more of him, yay.
But I will let you know if this still holds true after i play the full game.
