Gotta say at the moment my least favorite is Merril, she just seems so randomly young and malnourished xD
Also I'm not a fan of Bethany. She just seems like that really annoying know-it-all type.
Though I will use them. My opinion is subject to change once I actually play the game.

Although I may change my opinion after I...actually play the game and encounter her, at the moment it's Merrill. She just seems completely boring, and the writers gushing "SHE'S SO CUTE YOU GUYS" isn't exactly encouraging. I know at least one of the "twists" with her, and I gotta say...eh.

Just a tad early to be complaining about companions, I will reserve mi opinion until after I have played the game a couple of times.

Isabella will probably be my least favourite, going off what I've seen of her. Of course, I'll have to wait until I play the game to make any judgements.

I used to think Merrill, but she's voiced by Eve Myles, isn't she? Who has one of the most gorgeous voices, so now I think Merrill will be one of my favourites. Possibly Sebastian, since he's the one I know least about, and because I often play archers I doubt I'll be using him much. x

My least favorite companion was the Adoring Fan. Five minutes, all i could take then BAM. straight off Dive Rock. Little vanilla ice cream-hair b*tch.
Really it is Carver. He came across as a bit of a ****.

For now it's Bethany, I think. Not if I really disliked her, I just like her less than other companions. And I don't mention Sebastian, because I know too little about him.

Zevran was funny. That's why I kept him around despite him requiring more micro than Leliana. But Isabella... just seems like they're trying waaaaay too hard with her. Then the 'she secretly has a heart of gold because she freed slaves' thing? Yeah, again. I saw that coming a mile away. It's like she was written by a talented 15yo boy. Talented, yes, but with priorities in one place.

I would have said Fenris (whiney, emo-git) but I'm reminded of past times I've made that mistake.

LIke in ME2 where I was sure I'd hate Jack, but she ended up being a damn good charecter. So I'll reserve judgement for a week or so.

Sarah Jane, definitely. For the 'tough, independent reporter', boy did she cry a lot.

... As for DA2 companions... N/A. I'd rather play the game before I decide who I hate, kthx.

off vague character bio's and first impressions?

Fenris could either be really cool or really really meh. all i know is that he's infused with lyrium which gives him semi-super powers and he has no memory, and was an ex-slave. so if he gets all whiney about it then i probably wont like him at all.

Aveline could be really awesome as long as they write her well, which i think they might. steering clear of the whole "tough woman" act that makes any "tough woman" instantly unlikable. if she goes the route of generic tough woman then i wont like her at all.

well actually, basically i need to know more about them before i can really decide on least favorite. for example my least favorite character by far in ME2 was jacob, not because he was a bad character but because he was a fairly normal dude in a group of exceptionally interesting and unique characters.
