Sure why not, I won't use it anyway.
Kadian gay romance?
Sorry, but I think ME1 pretty much confirms that won't be in ME3.

Please no.
Not wanting Kaidan to be a M/M romance in ME3 doesn't make you a homophobe. I don't want it, and I'm not a homophobe.

Imagine all of the gay people who will play ME3 and want to seduce their favorite character? Why should they be discriminated against?roflchoppaz wrote...
Kaidan is already set in stone with ME1. He doesn't swing that way.

Because he doesn't swing that way.
If they made him a gay LI, in my opinion, it would be very OOC.

Why should characters have to change sexual preferences just because a few people want it?

But what if he's bi? Or he feels his physical gender shouldn't be a barrier to true love?roflchoppaz wrote...

They should change his voice too, make it really high pitched and feminine...
But no. That' s a bit extreme and stereotypical and you hurt my feelings.

I play a male shepard and saved Kaiden at Virmire because Ash was an irritating, one-dimensional nutjob with a seemingly-tacked-on "also I like books lol." A genderswapped Bruce Campbell? Really, Bioware? Plus, my Shep is a career sentinel and Kaiden's backstory is uncannily reminiscent of my own IRL history, so it made a good plot setup for a "bros and rivals, but Shepard was always just a bit better" scenario.
If the plot and dialogue was redesigned to be LI-centric for that, it'd just be plain wrong. It's already bad enough that half the time I have to entirely avoid talking to the female crew members I don't want to romance to keep from tripping flags.

Hey, randomly calling people homophobe because they like a current portrayal of a character is as insensitive as calling people gay-related slurs. You can't make other people gay any more than they can make you straight.

Doesn't Kaidan act surprised and somewhat put-off by FemSheps attraction to Liara? Doesn't that kind of imply that he's... you know... straight?
If Kaidan turned out to be bi, it would be just as silly as if the gay guy from Glee turned out to be bi. Totally a cop-out to the character.
you should see the s/s board on the ME3 side of things any excuse at all will do for them to say Kaiden was hiding his true feelings for mshep and they insist that they are entitled to a trilogy romance yet no one has been interested in s/s shep excpt Liara for all 3 games. Liara is the only one whom they can truly have a s/s trilogy romance with yet they all hate her at the same time sense she's an Asari.
Honestly Kaiden is hetero even the whole commonly sighted losing you was like loosing an arm mshep doesn't equal he wanted shep sense ME someone will naturally feel like apart of them is taken away when they look up to someone and that someone dies.
Kaiden btw isn't confirmed as a s/s option infact no one is and no new characters are being said to be s/s options either BW wants to leave it till March before the game comes out then they'll announce whom is available for what sex of Shep.
I personally think all past LI should stay as portrayed and brand new characters like vega should be the s/s options.

Both Kaidan and Ash were originally intended to be bi in ME1 but it was cut. Wouldnt suprise me if Bioware put the option back in for ME3.
That was what I was going to point out. If you have the PC version and can dig into the code, you'd find dialogue for same-sex romances. I can't find the source for that information, though.
Also, this: http://www.kotaku.co...es-alter-canon/
If I can get some hard proof of there being pre-recorded same-sex relationships for ME1 (and possibly ME2), then that will pretty much throw the whole "Kaidan's straight, so no" argument out of the window. Sure, it's not in the released game, but it was sure damned going to be before Bioware (perhaps for the better?--look at the Liara controversy) got cold feet and cut it out. Besides, what makes Kaidan "straight" other than the fact that you can't, within game mechanics, "romance" him? As the link above pointed out, what says that he couldn't have been in the closet and wasn't comfortable talking about it?
But I digress: we're talking about fictional characters and their sexualites, for goodness' sake. It doesn't matter now, and it never really will. ME1 can't change, ME2 can't change, and ME3's practically on our doorstep (oh how I wish that were literally true). There's no point in arguing about which way/s characters swing. Either we as individuals will be happy with the romances offered, or we won't. Tough luck.
