Threw togther a pretty solid gaming rig a few months ago
amd x4
8gig ddr5
500gig 7200 rpm
5770 1gig
grabbed a 23" LG to for a display
had XP laying around, so I installed it. Been working fine for most games, but I'm wondering if Dx11 will run on it, and if so I can't seem to find a down load for it....
Thanks,
Len
Will Windows XP do DX11?

No, Windows XP cannot use DirectX 11. Or DirectX 10, for that matter. You need Windows Vista or Windows 7 to use them.
Just so you know, 8 GB of main RAM won't do you a lot of good. XP can only use up to about 3.2 GB of main RAM. That's really all it needs; Windows XP takes up a lot less RAM than Vista or 7, so there's more space available on smaller amounts of RAM. Also, you are mistaken in calling your main RAM "DDR5". DDR5 doesn't exist yet for main RAM; only GDDR5 exists for graphics cards.
Basically, you do have a pretty nice rig set up, but you need Windows 7 to use it to its full potential. XP is holding it back.
