Does someone know if anyone ever expanded on the Oriental Rural tileset to allow for building cities, that is replaced the grass around buidings with sand, rock garden or paved floor?

Haven't seen such around; would make for a nice addition to a classic set.

Six actually is/was working on a lovely Oriental tileset. I have a beta version sitting on my HD. I don't know if he ever got much farther with it, though.

Really? That's pretty exciting! Lucky you, I wish could just catch a glimpse of it myself.
Keeping my fingers crossed we'll see it released one day!

I know this isn't exactly what you are asking about, but in case you missed it, you should know that Coulisfu also made an interiors tileset:http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=2221

Nothing much more yet. But since nobody else has seen it yet...

...it's not particularly accurate to any area or historical period. Was more something to keep my hands busy whilst I was tracking down backups of files earlier this year.

Wow, that's ... that's ... *at a loss for word*
You still manage to surprise me after all the great things you've done. That's exactly what I was looking for but I couldn't have imagined it as beautiful as you actually crafted it. In what state is it? Any chance it's going to be released this year?
Anyway, thanks for letting me have a look!

Dang it Six... I haven't even finished my first cup of coffee for the day and already I need to do a load of laundry to clean up all the drool towels I just used. Stunning work. I'll be watching that one for Mythos.

Well, with one thing and another (long story that's pretty irrelevant for this thread) I think I'll be taking a break from most of my projects for awhile - so in the meantime, you can download what little I have done of those tiles here. There's a couple of tiles completely missing (so certain specific terrain combos will result in a giant empty square) but no notable issues with any of the tiles that are there.
If nothing else it could be a pretty nice start for anyone else interested in finishing it off.

Have given it a quick spin in the toolset. Gorgeous. <3 I think what it really needs next is a bunch of doors...

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, six! Would be really great if someone could continue this if six isn't interested in doing it himself.

Bumping this in regards to my other thread looking for oriental material. Can't believe I didn't find it until now.

In light that the site I used to host my oriental city tiles on hasn't existed for a year, I've uploaded the (only partially useable) tileset here. I believe it's slightly updated compared to the previous version. It could probably be pretty handy with lots of placeable use.

That is a very nice tileset that really needs some comments on it. Bit of a pity it isn't complete, but what's there looks really nice

Only the oriental trees are available or is there another site to download from?

Even though the functionality is limited it seems possible to suggest the bath house in Spirited Away. Pretty cool.

The project's called oriental trees, but the tileset hak should be available as ~oricity.zip. I put it up on that page temporarily 'cos the old site I had it on is down.

I don't see ~oricity.zip. Only oritrees.zip shows up in the link.

Thanks. I was wondering if I was going blind for a moment there.
