So me and a few friends decided to try the PS3 demo, compare it to the PC version. blasted through the 'Legendary' opening to the locked character select screen, to find the default name for my character IS MY UNOBSCURED EA ACCOUNT PASSWORD.

EDIT: Language altered to deter trolls.

Very strange. Mine character's default name was Marian.

OK - to test played through 'legendary' a further 4 times, happened twice, both with male characters. uninstalled - reinstalled played a few, not happened since, hopefully its a one off, dont see why a supposedly secure entry field should alter the name though.

I haven't had that problem with my version of the demo for PS3... the default name for my Male champion was Hawke and Marian for the female.

No the default male name is garrett - the changeable part, so instead of GARRET[Hawke] it popped up PASSWORD[Hawke], without my touching anything on the menu. like i said happened 2-3 times in quick sucession, following the extreme lag other users have reported, not reoccurred since, not seen anyone else report the bug, reinstalling fixed it, hopefully its an artifact of a bad download etc. fixed as far as im concerned.

Today I ordered a pizza and on the receipt under the total IS MY UNOBSCURED EA ACCOUNT PASSWORD! WTF, if i cant trust bioware with simple data protection why should i give them all the data they ask for just to play their games with reasonable functionality.
