Please help, I dont seem to be able to go with her..

I romanced her to love, did the dark ritual, etc... at the beginning of witch hunt there is no bug,.... i can talk about the child.. even when i see morrigan i can ask about the child - why cant i go with her then?  it doesnt give me the "take me with you" option, it gives me the "let me go with you" option and when i choose it she says sorry she cant.  what am i doing wrong?  i tried everything!

The one that first comes to mind is one of the Morrigan related bugs in Origins that reset her romance.

it did not reset, i checked. i had her at love all the way through and i had the child dialogue, and i had the ring.

do i have to kill flemeth actually? or can i lie and say i killed (give her grimoire?)

That's weird. I just completed it yesterday and it worked fine for me (I know that's not helpful). I killed Flemeth, myself. Are you sure you're navigating the dialogue properly?

During the final battle in Origins, did you talk to her at all after all the companions said goodbye to you? Because if you did, it ends your romance with her.

So that's probably what it was, cause I was having the same prob as the OP n I was gettin highly frustrated n pist lol.  I've had to redo the ending 3 time's.  Since I DIDN'T talk to her this time I hope that was the case but I won't be able to find out until after Awakenings n Golems lol.

HMM I ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED ON HER ONCE WHEN I TRIED TO LOOT IN FORT DRAKON, BUT I JUST SAID "NEVERMIND", I DIDNT TALK - DOES THIS COUNT?? apologies for caps lock!! it was an accident.
i am re-trying witch hunt (am at the circle tower now), not sure what will happen but tried a couple times already and getting a bit bored with the thaig .. lol

nope, i couldnt - i had only me alistair and dog cus i sent everyone away, leliana cus she annoyed me and wynne left me because of the ashes.. i couldnt kill flemeth the dragon without a mage.. so i just let her go and took the grimoire.

it looks like the accidental click still broke the game - i just finished witch hunt for the gazillionth time and still cant go with morrigan. i really dont know what im doing wrong. she was on love forever

i just double checked - it didnt stop the romance, she was on LOVE when i entered the top floor on fort drakon. what am i doing wrong? someone help please

What console are you on?

I would say your best bet would be to just restart at the battle for Denerim, and see if that works. But remember, don't talk to her at all after the companions say their goodbyes to you before you go to kill the Archdemon.

Have you downloaded the witch hunt patch 1.1?
This should solve your problem, or do you have the game on consol?
It happend with me to, but after i installed the patch everything worked just fine

for some reason i parted from morrigan in "love", but then at the end of witch hunt it gives me the "we were friends once" option instead of "i couldnt let it end like this2 so clearly somewhere i lost the love but where?

master spirit, no, i never downloaded a patch for it, how do i download it >? I am on pc so should work! after i downloaded, what do i have to load, just witch hunt again?

Your saves are located in My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Characters

If you can upload the it(rapidshare etc) I can check it for you. Preferably the save you imported and a save right before you reach Morrigan in WH.

Btw u didn't romance Lel after or during the romance with Morrigan??  N your absolutely sure u didn't talk to Morrigan after picking who was goin with you to fight the AD??  Sorry for the questions but like I said I had the same problem so I had to redo my ending 3 times n this time I went to check the beginning of WH to see if there was any changes n I got the I love her option at the beginning so I'm fairly sure my flags are set right this time.  But I want to do Awakenings n Golems before I do WH.

I did the same thing and it still worked for me

I am 100% sure that

1. i romanced morrigan, did the dark ritual and before the archdemon, her approval was 100 love
2. i didnt romance leliana after or during, i romanced her earlier (pre landsmeet) then broke with her.
3. didnt talk to morrigan at all since the dark ritual conversation, not even a stray click

still couldnt get the "i love her" option. frustrates me.

Leliana is tricky, because in the vanilla game, not only does she have an auto-romance line (bugged), one of her romance breakups also does not work. So you can break up with her, but still have her romance be active. And if you already had the jealousy conversation where Morrigan initiated it, and you never really talk to Leliana (or the non-working breakup only dropped her approval lower than adore, therefore sidestepping the jealousy threshhold), you can still end the game in a romance without even realizing it.

I MANAGED IT FINALLY BUT ONLY BY COMPLETELY CHUCKING LELIANA OUT AND RESETTING MORRIGANS ROMANCE WITH THE MIRROR after THE RITUAL.. apologies for capslock!
