Look, I played the Demo about ten times now...
The graphics are good. Better than Origins. The gameplay is enjoyable and the fact the main char has a voice of its own gave him a lot personality.
1. Some people have problems with change. When something they like change, they have tendency to hate it without giving a deeper look. 2. I remember similiar reactions to DA:O... To ME2 and so many games. I even remember people talking trash about Baldur's Gate 2.
My point is that not all change is bad. Keeping the mind open can lead to interesting paths.
And that's all I have to say, really. To discuss the OP opinion woudn't lead anywhere.
1. Please, step down off of your soapbox.
We're all adults, here. (well, most of us...I think.) So, I think we can dispense with the persistent assumption that we hate Dragon Age 2 simply because we're "afraid of change."
Christ, I am sick to my stomach of that pathetic blanket statement that keeps getting thrown around.
I think it's fair to say that we realize that not all change is bad. Though I'm sure there are a number of people who
aren't willing to give Dragon Age 2 a second chance, those who
are either will download the DA2 demo, or have already.
Personally, I was more than willing to give Dragon Age 2 a second chance. Hell, later on this evening, I'm going to give it a second and third chance to change my mind. I saw what it was like as my favorite class (Rogue), with my favorite weapon set-up (dual-wielding). As ridiculous as the Rogue's combat moves looked, I have somewhat higher hopes for Warrior and Mage.

2. Somehow, I doubt these so-called "similar reactions" to Dragon Age: Origins were anything of the sort. Dragon Age: Origins wasn't a sequel, radically different from its beloved predecessor; Dragon Age 2, on the other hand, is just that.
