What do you think will be better?
Overall there is 22 thousands mods for oblivion and around 1600 mods for Dragon Age Origins so oblivion beats dragon age in that regard but when you are considering gameplay dragon age is much better.
I am still wondering if skyrim will be more like lame oblivion or will be better as morrowind. Morrowind was so much better( ok graphics were awfull but the gameplay was awesome): More guilds , more area to explore, more armors and weapons, more skills and etc.
But Oblivion was awesome in graphics when it came out. I did love riding the hours around to watch the views.
But lets get back to orignal question? Do you think Dragon age 2 will fall when skyrim will come out because of the graphics and other skyrim stuff ( like toolset [ that in case of oblivion was more user friendly like then DA:O one], great large unexplored land, a horse, a new leveling system[leveling by perks]).
So overall what do you think that will be better overall? I am talking about that dragon age 2 will be better in this and this but I am talking overall.
Will dragon age be crushed by skyrim or the other way around.
I personally think a lot of people will go to skyrim just for graphics; They look just epic. But this is only my view on this mather.
Looking foward for what do you think on this mather .
Skyrim or Dragon Age 2

Most single-character RPGs bore me. Fallout 3 + New Vegas were the exceptions. I prefer party-based RPGs.

It will be DA2 for me. Elder Scrolls/Skyrim just don't seem like my cup of tea.

Apples and oranges. Each game will have a completely different focus.
I found the Skrym trailer the more impressive of the two, but no idea what it was running on.
Not sure how correct this will be but HR is out 2 weeks after DA2 that will probably have more impact than Skrym.

Just play both and stop comparing different genres.

I'll buy both, for different reasons and I'm quite sure I will find them both rather good.

Uh...Skyrim is coming out at the end of the year. Dragon Age 2 is coming out in nine days.
That's not really an either or situation.

Of course da2 will die out well before skyrim comes out, its limited qualities aren't generally the sort that produce massive replayability. So it will rely on DLC, which up to this point have been rather bad.

skyrim (never beat oblivion, too boring)

While both games are RPGs, they're in completely different sub-genres so comparing them would be fairly pointless. I'll still play both when Skyrim comes out.

Both will be good for what they set out to do. It is pretty obvious that neither are the same game. I'm getting both.

22 thousand mods because it's buggy as hell and the community fixed tons of issues. I'm not sure that counts as a selling point.
I like Bethesda's games and Bioware's games for different reasons. It's really hard to make a comparison of which one is "better" because you then have to ask, better for what? If I feel like running around free as a bird and poking my nose in things like a puppy with ADD, Bethesda games are better hands down. If I don't want my eyeballs rolling themselves straight out of my head at how unbelievably awkward the dialog and story are, I need to get me a Bioware game.
Note: Skyrim trailer music. AWESOME. That is all.

Or both? 2 completely different games...
DA2 good for Gampelay, Combat, Story
Skyrim good for Graphics, Skills, the whole Rpg element thing......
Although i have been waiting for skyrim for over 5 years and only DA2 for 2 years
