How different is Catherine from DA2? Bioware romances are pretty much datign sim romances and the lovely people here at the BSN and Bioware devs going on about Merill and Isabela is if anything more disgusting.

From what i have read in interview, your the Dragonbourne. I do not know the details that much, but your main character will slay dragons and absorb their souls. They did confirm that somewhere in the story, you will take the throne.

So I will become the emperor of Tamriel. That sounds epic. I look foward to it. I cannot wait for that. They all will bow before me.Before my power.

In all honesty, I wasnt thinking about the whole 'Dating sim' aspect of the two games, I was referring more to Catherine's 'puzzler-on-acid-oh-god-why-is-this-so-hard-mommy!' gameplay.

I'm more interested in the story honestly. The plot of Catherine is a ****in LSD trip. I could definitely see the puzzle gameplay being viewed as a block to progress in the story though, and being very irritating. Atlus even releaed or will release, a patch lowering the difficulty.

Skyrim will sell more because of the Elder Scroll's longstanding rep, which is older and more established than DA. Elder scrolls is old school. DA2 is not.

if you speak to the blades after oblivions main quest they say that they wait for the next dragonborn to arrise so this could be a possabilty

I couldn't compare both games.  I like both, I will own both and play both.  Why say I like one better or not.  Both will be excellent games.  Now if I could only get one game, they came out the same day and I had to choose which one to play first...I would go with Skyrim.  But thankfully I don't, I get DA II in just over a week and have many MANY months to enjoy that game.  Skyrim will be enjoyed next winter...

I don't like FP view and I prefer party so dragon age definitely has the advantage... I am definitely getting DA and if the reviews for skyrim are extremely positive I'll have a go at that too. The gameplay trailer for skyrim is amazing though...

BTW, my preferance on their prequels goes:
ME2 > TW > DAO > ME1 > Deus Ex > Oblivion > Morrowind > DX: IW

This is SO gonna get locked. But I can't really say. Elder Scroll: IV was pretty good. And from what I've seen of Skyrim which is very little. Its Elder Scrolls with prettier graphics. That being said we dont really have any info. So.. Yeah its retarded making a vs thread or non graphical comparisons at this point.

It's a comparison of apples to oranges. They are both RPG games set in a medieval time, but they are set up differently. I think they're both going to be awesome.
