If this has already been discussed then I apologize in advance.
Replaying the game in preparation for da2 and I decided to make a slow, read everything run. In doing so I noticed the commandments of the maker and was wondering if anyone had tried a playthrough where they follow the rules in it.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to read too much into codex but it sounded to me as if an actual rping instruction manual was plopped into the game. It's entirely possible that this is Simply based on the ten commandments but I found bits of it worded weird.
The rules are simple : 1 god, magic can only be used to help not rule others(no blood magic?), no lies, no 'unnecessary' killing, no stealing.
Well there are several occasions when you can lie, stealing is a skill and a minor quest line, their are multiple conversations where you can pick fights or outright kill people, you can refuse the maker or choose other gods, and you can choose blood magic as a spec.
I'm sure I'm reading too much into this...
Thanks for reading, could following this have some bearing on the epilogue? I also considered that Cullen might be more likely to become a fearsome Mage hunter if you smuggled lyrium for rogek and Godwin.

I really have no answers for you that wouldn't spoil the interesting journey you are on. This is an interesting theory. If I were you I would revisit the subject after your play-through. Cullen does do something, but only under a specific set of conditions.
