Evil Murder required by this game

I am curious if Bioware intended on forcing the player to be evil in their game. I have no desire to play an evil character. The idea was a heroic character saving something. If you can't be good and do it, why play the game at all.
Frankly I'd like my money back. You have a beautiful game to look at with absolutely no morals what so ever.
If later in the story we get to put Duncan on trial for murder and see him put in a dungeon forever or hung that might redeem the story a bit. So far it's upset me to the point I find it hard to continue playing.

...
Dear god, I hope you're joking. Beyond the fact that you care so much that someone who gets killed 10 minutes later kills someone, they told Jory that there's absolutely no turning back whatsoever. That's like complaining that someone gets shot sneaking around the White House at 3 A.M.

It was advertised as a "dark" RPG. You really didn't expect bad things to happen?

But.... I'll play nice and pretend he isn't a troll. Duncan will not go on trial for reasons you will find out quite soon after you pass the 10 minutes played mark. You will also find out WHY he did what he did, and then you can decide if it was evil or not. Lastly, there are PLENTY of "let live or die" choices that your happy face gets to make in the game, you can let them all live then.

Duncan acted out of clear cut self defense and protection of others and you consider it a murder?
Even in today's courts of law in the USA that wouldn't hold water as murder.Watch the scene again and don't skip anything.
Duncan's actions were totally justifiable even with today's morals.

That said you personally never have to murder anyone innocent, although if you act good but in an irresponsible way your actions could hurt a large number of people.

Duncan murders Jory. Your character is forced to join a murderer and like it. Your not even given the choice about how you feel about it.

"when he went for his weapon i had no choices"
(later on you find a book telling about how a grand master warden died because a recruit tryid to back out and drew his weapon and killed him so they made it a rule to attack them right off if the drawl there weapon)
you will be happy to know that threwout the game I have had about over 50 choices to do good or evil and every time I have chosen good and really liked the out come

2: The Grey Wardens do their job no matter what. Duncan didn't have a choice... And if he did, how the hell do you think you should get to make that call?
3: Murder, by definition, does not include cases of self-defence. Thus, your charge is irrelevant anyways.

This game is considered 'Dark Fantasy' for a reason, and the promos for the game say 'Not every hero is pure' for a reason. There are decisions that may not sit well with you, but are needed for the good of more people. Would you let one person live if it meant thousands must die?
