In all seriousness people will cry, ****, and moan at the smallest bit of change because it is something they are not used to. They will immediatly goto "OMG YOUR MAKING THE SAME AKDL;HG;DLKHGAD;LGKHA (insert random **** spweing here)" mode just because they are unsure of what they had heard or something they liked got taken away.

How about because it's not? And because it's ridiculous to think that it is?

or dragon age of farmville
or command and conquer dragons
or world of dragoncraft
or Call of Dragon: Champion Ops
Note: all of these examples are just as accurate* as Dragon Effect

It's funny because nobody reads the OP, and replies entirely based on the title of the thread.

Explain how it isn't, because as you've no doubt seen, read, and cired about; there have been a million topics on why it is.

I was sad the direction was changed for a long time, but now I'm looking forwards to Hawke's story and with the demo fresh on my mind I can guess the experience will be that much more visceral then it was in DAO and I approve of the new art direction. In the end we will see in a few weeks what the final verdict is once we have the chance to finish the game at least once.

The fact is, Bioware dropped their original vision for DA like a bad habit. It's staring everyone square in the face, yet most here are denying it.
This just in, slimgrin now works at BioWare and determines what is and isn't their vision.
