That was a joke.
The way a female protagonist runs.

with broad shoulders stooping
trotting like Sten
Then came the hue and then came the cry
Of all lady players
Why do we run like a guy?
Then BioWare said "We will throw them a pearl."
They shall not run like a moose
They shall run like a girl!
In DA2 they ran with loose hips
The fans were enraged
"Too much sway!" from their lips.
Too much moose, too much sway
BioWare shook their collective head.
"DA3 what will they ask for?" They said with much dread.

I'm rarely satisfied with run animations. Oh well. Maybe someone awesome will create a mod for "less sway".

That would require re-animating the entire running animation. No way that'll happen unless we get a toolset. And even then it's quite the task.

Unless they just make a slow-motion version of the current animation.

Awwww, I was actually quite pleased when I saw LadyHawke's run, partly because I run a little bit like that (wouldn't call myself 'obnoxiously girly'
Still, it isn't FemSheps 'Manimation', for which I think there should be eternal gratitude. As few women as I know who run like
PS I am also not a prostitute. kthxbye Hey, Blackgold, or a Gorilla! Sheesh, some people really know to be insulting ...

To which I reply:
"What we want, what we desire," said the fans with much pain
Is a woman who runs like she’s not doing a “John Wayne.”
She can swivel her hips, pose provocatively too
Just not bob her head every step like she’s wary of poo…
Let her be strong in her stride, seductive in walk
Not hunched like a gorilla – let’s not mention her “talk.”
“After all,” they said, “we have reason to fear
For the next fifty hours we’ll be watching her rear…”

Baywatch intro disagrees with you.
To be fair though, Lady Hawke's current running animation kind of looks like a sped-up walk animation.

So true, only reason I play female avatars over male. If I'm watching an ass for 50 hours I'd rather it be a female one.

It's a little funny, but they seem to have toned it down from earlier versions which had a very pronounced sway. In the live demos, femHawke movement looks pretty good IMO, so I'm satisfied.
So I'm not crazy with the thought that Demo Lady Hawke moved differently than the Laidlaw Live gameplay Lady Hawke?
I thought my brain had broke... well more than it all ready is at any rate.

to have a care
for her running.
It's normal fare.
All they say:
do not sway
nor be stiff,
if I may.
It isn't asking much
that she would go as such:
Moving not as a man
but with a woman's touch.
So if you hear,
pray do not fear.
T'is all simple.
Be of good cheer.

I'm more concerned with Lady Hawke's 'bravery' sound.
But yes, lets hope they did change the running. The female characters all run a little.. well odd to say the least.
Ever give Sigrun the bard spec?
