Actual scene from the final battle:
Meredith reveals that she is not only secretly a blood mage who rose to the rank of knight commander but she also is in control of a mobile nuclear launch platform that she plans on using against the freedom-loving mages of Tevinter. Suddenly, the brother who you thought betrayed you for the templars returns to aid you in battle against Meredeth. Except now Carver's arm gets blown off by the knight commander's laser weapon and pressed up against a wall.
Carver: After the Deep Roads, I was taken from the battle. Neither truly alive nor truly dead. An undying shadow in the world of lights. And now... at last... I can finally... die.
Meredeth then stomps on Carver, killing him before Hawke destroys Metal Gear.
Meredith then explains why Hawke's mother bears the surname Arnell. Meredith in also descended form the Arnell's in fact. Hawke and Meredtith were both clones of The Warden (who EVERYONE is gay for) in an attempt to isolate the genes that create superior mages.
Hawke then proceeds to kill Meredith. He then Rescues Merrill from atop Metal Gear and together they escape form the Circle Tower while fighting off next-generation special templars.

I really want to go to bed, but the thought of getting to hear more dialogue is preventing me from giving up on this failed stream.. If only he would learn that mages CAN'T TANK.

I think I would have avoided that room... He has the ability to go around. The quest target isn't in that room.

Right, looks like this thinkofmebob is going to make a 100 hour game play by visiting the brother at least 10 times between each quest. So I will do an update now before my body turn into a zombie.

She gives some cryptic advice and says that she's thankful, but she pities Hawke because of the road ahead. She then turns into a dragon and flies off.
