Qunari mage (words kept getting in the way of a good screenie)

The Qunari REALLY do not like mages.

There is a quest where a sister has you escort a qunair mage outside of the city. His horns are cut off and it looks like his mouth is stitches shut with a mask over his face. You encounter a group of Qunari, but the mage you are leading has no problem going back with them. They momentarily let him speak to you, he thanks you, then submits to the Qunari and they kill him because he lost his leaders, so he was too dangerous and corruptible. They then attack Hawke because he led the mage and could have been corrupted as well...strange customs. 0_o

The way they treat their mages makes me feel like Anders.

Ok I just want to know one thing. If anyone can answer that is. When Flemeth appears from the amulet in the live feed. Well it's a year later at that point, meaning it's probably after you kill her in Origins. Does she say anything in regards to that? I turned it off at that point cause I didn't want anything big spoiled but I'm really curious about that. Cause if you kill her does she appear then?

She does mention it.  She says the reason she sealed part of her soul/self in the amulet was because of her daughter Morrigan.  She figures that she has already been killed by the Warden and Morrigan.

Bethany was outraged and Aveline was dumbfounded after the Qunari attacks the party.  She wondered why they had them bring the mage out of the city, then to try to kill them all.

And...turns out the sister who set you on the quest with the Qunari mage was using you to set up. She wanted you killed so she could show how monstrous the Qunari are and how great the Chantry is because they won't stand for such justice. You were meant to die. Beware this evilness (but she does pay you!)
