Trust me he deserves it. He seems like that kid that's pissed because not only is he not a Mage like daddy and brother and sister. BUT because him living with Mages has caused him inconveniences as a child growing up, so he seems to have a lot of resentment for Mages.

I'm an only child and even I cut Carver MASSIVE amounts of slack despite having no idea what being overshadowed like that feels

I am in total agreement with you Zalocx. And must add Tuesday can't come soon enough, it's driving me crazy! haha!
