Imo, I think the best ending with Alistair as a LI is going back to him & traveling with him after Awakening. Of course the epilogue says both the warden and alistair disapear after a number of years.

That's because they settle far away together and live happily.  YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT'S NOW HOW IT HAPPENED!!  

I sure hope so. D: I don't want any more misfortune to befall Olive Amell or Alistair.

Yes, it is said during the discussion Nate lead one of the Deep Road expeditions and found your siblings, turned him/her into Grey Warden.

Just like Flemeth said, it's the only way to stop the taint.

I suppose it's largely based on your Awakening file.

Maybe there is no way to save your sibling. It was in the demo and from the spoilers we're getting, it really does seem like your sibling dies in the deep roads.

Reading this thread makes me more and more excited for my evil/renegade playthrough with an archer/assassin. I will mete out retribution upon all those who defy me.

And romance Merrill...
But only because apparently Aveline aka the only sane character has a thing for weaklings...

Good thing I always spared him on all my characters and he became a great Warden in all of them. Now I don't have to worry aobut them dying in the Deep Roads. Wonder how Wardenhood will be like outside of being one. Now that it's out of the way, how about some more Merrill romance info please:wub: but hopefully make any bad news about her as kind as possible:(

Are we sure?  I hope so!  I just thought, maybe since that info came from that demo that was a lil old, it might not be 100% reliable.  I really, really hope so, though.  I don't want them to die! D:  Not even Carver!

No. You just might not see Nathaniel if you don't have one.

If the only way your sibling survives the deep roads is if you make Nathaniel a grey warden, that's awesome that BioWare would allow one of the choices we made in a expansion pack effect the survival of a companion in a future game.

From what we gathered so far, it seemed the only way to ensure your sibling survived the Deep Road is to ensure Nate became a GW.
