Ultimately though, it seems Hawke is like Cousland Warden. He/she loses all his/her family and is a noble that will play an important part in the world of Thedas.

guys has any of you seen deathblows? cuz in all the streams ive seen there hasn't been any of the killing blow moves we had in DAO...

There are deathblows, you hit the button and the enemy gets shredded into at least 7 or 8 different pieces. =D

The only deathblows I've seen have been in the demo during a cutscene.

I would assume the deathblows are there...they just haven't been triggered in any of the videos or such...

edit: notices a couple of the weapons in the one-handed weapon list of the leaked strategy guide(which he preordered thank god) have the 'messy kills' property on them...and that usually is associated with triggering the deathblows...

Anyway, my guess is Hawke is around about 22-23. I've seen plenty of men with outgrown facial hair by that age.

Excellent question. She was a noble herself. Perhaps she won't, since she know how much trouble you will get yourself into.

I'd have to bump Leandra's age lower than that.  50, sure, but 60 is just pushing it in my opinion.  55 is stretching it as well, but I still find it believeable.

i have i full beard and i am in fact 24 ...but its not just his facial hair its his voice as well as the way his face looks ...he just looks older...to me

This is in Origin or in DAII? Because in Origin there was a pack of Dalish elves trying to kill you after you save the wolves. But they weren't attacking anyone other than you lot there.

It's in DAII as well, though the encounter was quite...disappointing. Apparently the human who got werewolves curse trying to apologize to the Dalish about their action in past. Hawke and group happened to pass by, and step into mess.

Looks don't equal age though, I've only turned 16, but I've been mistaken plenty of times for someone in her 20's. Hell someone even once thought my MOTHER was my little sister. xD

Hawke has to be around 26 at the most, considering it's a 10 year long game and with hints of DA3 centering around Hawke as well, it doesn't seem right to have some 38 odd something hero being the star of DA3, especially if it ends up being as long as DA2.
