It doesn't remind me of blood wound, blood wound was far more awesome. It looks more like, damn I can't remember the name... not death hex but the other one with the similar name that would stop the target from healing and they'd suffer constant spirit damage.

Perhaps Meredit`s pride and holier that holy attitude lure pride demon to her and lirium addiction made the possession possible.

She is the final boss no mater what and in the end perhaps you could kill the demon but save here life and tranquilizes Orsino (templar ending), or kill demon, kill her and let Orsino and his circle free(mage ending).

Till now we have had NO clue whatsoever what the main quest line would entail (except mages vs templars)

It's not "epic" because the big bad isn't some ancient evil, you're not part of a speshal organization, and you're not on a singleminded quest to defeat them, etc etc.

This will be a plot twist, if templar`s lirium addiction lead to demonic possession. As they only effective against mages when they use lirium. hmmm...interesting.

heh.. well , in my humble opinion.. the words of politics are more dangerous than the thrust of a sword... in an epic fight all that is changed may be the battle ground.. which can be repaired or left behind

.  .... in a war of politics .. innocents, kings and beggars alike will have thier worlds changed both physically and culturally for generations . I'd definitely call that EPIC
