Oh geez.... I too think the stratgey guide is needed... I got the ME2 just for the side quests (the tips on saving the companions was awful), but with everything ive read about betrayal (for the 3 last pages ive read), the guide looks like the only way to prevent Hawke from being a loner. Unless someone got REALLY lucky.

My hands are still shaking from how emotional this game is turning out to be.

The funniest thing is that I was following this thread until thursday, and now that ive come back, it's helped me prepare for all these changes instead of just giving me info on who is going to show up from origins or what a small part of the plot might be, which is what i usually look to spoilers for. Its never been to help me beat a game... until now.

Now I'm torn on which Warden to import first. My human mage who left to be with Morrigan and their child or my dalish elf warrior who romanced Leliana and remained with the Wardens with Zevran and Leliana by his side. This really sucks, I can't decide.

Hmmm, Anders just got a whole lot more interesting. I shall enjoy being harsh with him.

Nice to hear Fenris sticks around if you romance him, but I will be eager to see what DLC Sebastian has to say about all the end crazy.

YES! THIS! I'm also super-excited for the implication that Mage!Hawke and his/her cousin, Amell (The Hero of Ferelden), ran off together to secure mage freedom FOR ALL OF THEDAS! MWAHAHAHA!

Hmmm maybe something happens and Hawke & Co. have to go into hiding regardless of Hawke's position of power?

This game is starting to turn all my beliefs right on their asses... Neutral it is then... as long as it benefits my companions.

I think he answered this a few times already, actually.  He said he ran into it often, but from what I took out of it,  caves were the biggest offender.

Every side quest takes place in the same cave. It's a different cave name for different purposes. But it's the exact same. You just approach it from different angles.
Also, The Fade section is just a copy/paste of The Templar grounds.

Complete agreement! I'm so glad I stuck with my elf mage Warden (I hate DAO mages, at least when they're still kinda... weak). It just adds to it all. I saw her becoming more and more disenchanted with the Chantry (she started out as very devout, saved the Ashes, killed all Maleficarum, etc.). Fun to role play her fall from Spirit Healer to Blood Mage.

It'll be neat to see how that world effects a mage Hawke, or a Hawke with mage siblings.
