Is Collector's Edition of the guide preorder only? Or can we just go into the store and buy it? EB games has shown no info of any guide yet for DA2.

Everyone has the right to spoilers, especially when the devs wouldn't even tell us anything about sexuality.

Then yes, mine is the normal version. Nice that they included all the extra lore tidbits in the normal version.

I was able to buy my origins collector's edition from the best buy here...though i will say at the sametime our gamestop was sold out of both copies...

It would probably use the Default canon history.
In DA2 the Default History is Human Male Noble who did Morrigan ritual, executed Loghaine, and let Alistair become king.

My concern was that for him/her to show up in DA3, a voice would be required/

There are ways to work around that, like the warden 'mysteriously' losing their voice or being interupted before they have a chance to speak/. Tacky, I know.

I don't mind the developer's being that silent actually. I find it more fun to find it out ourselves about this. If they give us the occassional spoiler or hint, it certainly helps though.

He lies about his personal quest to Cassandra.
He goes looking to kill his brother and has a Scarface moment.
"Say hello to Bianca!"
And you run throughout a huge mansion one shotting hundreds of enemies and they explode.
It's my favorite part. 
And Cassandra is like NO WAY! And then he tells the real story of the quest.

Lol no wonder David Gaider dropped the line in the Varric thread some time ago, it's epic stuff!

doubtful conmsidering biowares extreme caution in making sure everyones choices were importede. just gdoing adefault warden would be a tad redundant. It woul be cool to have the warden imported from DAO in fully improved graphics, with a short cameo, even voiceless though. he couild just appear and kill the spawn then nod to your character and walk off leaving his second in command to talk to you. And that way you could  ask about the warden through convo options

So is it me or are warrior/rogue Hawke with a good morale aligment completly screwed for end game?
your sister leave the group in the deeproads, Merill never have access to the creation tree and anders is a genocidal maniac slaughters innocents.
It looks like unless you're very evil hawke you'll be left with no heal in your party, on normal you can make do with potion, but on nightmare :/ ouch

Being forced to play with anders for most of the game is already was already quite a disapointment, they really blew it with companion choice this time around.It does seem like mage hawke is the way the devlopper imagined the game :/ sad

PS: hopefully I am wrong and there is some hidden way to pkeep your sibling in the party
