The Chantry is doomed either way.  It may really depend on friendship/rivalry status for what those circumstances are.

I for one am glad Anders is more serious. I like that he has matured and evolved as a character.

I am too, I just don't exactly like how that evolution has resulted into Anders wanting to blow up orphan filled chantries.

The guide doesn't mention the chantry at all. Just that something happens which brings things to a head and you have to pick sides. It also mentions that you have to decide to have Anders come with you, kill him or set him free. At this point, other party members may leave as well.

I see, and nothing about who escapes... Interesting.  I wish I had the preloaded game so I could see that movie for myself.  Does it say anything about Anders's side quest in Act 3, like a walthrough for that at all?  I think Klace said it was called "Justice."  It might have to do with you agreeing about distracting the Grand Cleric, or what Klace said.

There is a basic walkthrough, but it omits all spoilers. It just tells you where you need to go and lists friendship/rivalry consequences depending on who you bring with you and what you decide.

I see, and I guess that's the same for that Justice quest.  No details at all on what you have to do?  Consequences and etc?

I love the concept of it yes. It adds a more serious undertone where you have to make a decision about those you surround yourself with on a personal level, not just an easy way out. I mean, Origins had Loghain/Alistair, but you really didn't have any means to be attached to Loghain unless you read the books. Even then, this choice is likely to have more impact than that event.

Well, as we should all know, if you don't take your sibling with you to the Deep Roads, they leave the group (Carver to Templars and Bethany to the Circle). If you take them, they get tainted and die. However, if Anders is with your party, you get the option to have them become Grey Wardens. Your sibling then leaves the group. The guide then lists a series of quests that you need to do by the end of the game. If you do them, your sibling will be there at the start of the final act and you can have them join you again.

As for Anders and Seb. If you don't kill Anders after the whole Chantry thing, Seb leaves. The guide says that you can't talk him out of it. So, its either Anders or Seb.
