I really rather like how this all sounds like an epic drama.  perhaps not the fantasy cliche of slaying a big bad corrupted god, but i like it.

EDIT: Yeah, I know that my Warden supposedly "disappeared".... but I refuse to accept this. Where in the freaking WORLD would my M!Tabris go, and not take his sexy elfboy along?!

Too much epicness indeed! My favourite rogues to the rescue in the last battle, can't want to see their awesomeness 
The fangirl in me is imagining dialogues between the two, maybe they could talk about the Warden, or share rogue secrets...

I'm with you, I second this with all my heart. I even support him as Commander of they Grey Wardens, I always thought him perfect for the role, after all my Wardens (and every Warden apparently now) start travelling with their LI or disappear.

I wonder where the Warden and Hawke went... so many unanswered questions. And I wonder if Flemeth has something to do with it.

I guess all those things that Morrigan said to the Warden will be explained in DA3... drats!

That's no excuse! Seriously! Where would The Warden go, but not take his/her love interest? Or at least leave a note! Or.... give some clue to wear he/she is going! FANGIRL... RAGE... BUILDING....!

Ugh, I hate it when these kinds of choices are made FOR the player. Seriously, breaking up my Warden and Zevran? Not cool. Really, really not cool. I'm so disappointed.

EDIT: Given the circumstances, I will not blame Zevran if he cheats on me with Hawke. Which he probably will. Because there's no way Hawke can resist Zevran. And if the Warden ran out on him? Yeah, yeah, Zevran will probably hit my Hawke like a trainwreck. *sigh*

that's some good news, it's a pain to lose Bethany for the whole act 2 but if we can get her back for act 3 then at least that's something. does the guide says anything about bethany/carver spec? do they new powers for being grey wardens?

In almost every ending in regards to Romanced Zevran he ends up going away for awhile in Antiva.  Probably while he's busy sorted that crap out, the Warden goes missing. Rumors say the Warden followed him, but the epilogues are just that, rumors. I dont think the Warden purposely left behind anyone.  Likely something beyond their control happened.  After all, theres no way we'll see our Wardens again in the flesh.  Too many issues with implementing it in a new game.

And Zevran is extremely loyal.  At least going by what he says, he wouldn't cheat.  But thats only if the warden is still alive.  Ultimate Sacrifice ending though?  Probably proposition Hawke.

Nathaniel? I guess a lot of people are regretting hanging him. Also Wonder if this depends on getting the ending where he stayed a GW, or if it was retconned.

I'm guessing if they retconned some of Anders's story slides, then Nathaniel's could very well be retconned as well.
