Oh my god, it's almost like... real life. Noooooooooooooo!

Really? My life is definately not that dramatic. Though, to be fair, I haven't lived that long, so what do I know? Of course, it is nice to have the people around you acting strongly according to their own beliefs. But still, it's a game and I want them around so I can get to know them better... :(

Romance dialogue is the same with Fenris. S/S or not. Female seems to get more options with Fenris in romance dialogue.

If Fenris is with you when you confront The Arishok at the end of act 2, he will use his knowledge of The Quen to invoke a 1 on 1 duel between Hawke and The Arishok.

I've a random, random question, and I'm pretty sure that it's been answered before, but I've forgotten.

Which quest has the Zevran cameo? And when is it? It's not really late in the game, right...?

I'm just trying to gauge how long I have to wait to meet Zevran again, and hear his thoughts on his missing beloved. Because I'm still all torn up about the fact that my M!Tabris and Zevran can't be together. *sniff*

You never know maybe if your warden was in a relationship with Zevran he might not offer to have sex with Hawke. He might be torn up about the warden disapearing.

You know, I remember how the Devs kept saying that the Rival/Friendship system was going to be AWESOME and that if you roleplay a consistent character, you'll still win! Even characters who hate you will stay with you! No longer will you have to CHEAT THE SYSTEM and make choices based on the APPROVAL GAIN!

What a load! Apparently, we're STILL going to have to cheat the system, even with our enemies! I won't be thinking "what would my character do?" I'll be thinking "what should my character do TO GAIN THOSE LAST FEW RIVALRY POINTS so that Fenris won't WALK OUT ON ME HALFWAY THROUGH SEX."

........ugh. Just.... ugh.

You get the quest near the end of the game. In act 3.
It's called Murder of Crows. You get it in Hightown near the Brothel.

Awesome! Just like in Destiny trailer! My Evil Mage Lady Hawke will tear him in half with Crushing Prison!

The potential for loss is what makes it so appealing. Nothing has value if it is invulnerable.

...I thought *I* was a pessimist. Last I checked, I have friends who haven't abandoned me, betrayed me, or who I've been forced to kill. And no one in my family has been killed by a serial killer or tainted by evil. Or killed by an ogre. There a line between 'bad things happen' and 'oh dear god, are you going to stop giving me bad news at any point time?'.  Plus, if a game is so realistic and like real life, why would one use it as escapism? A lot of people have lives that suck. I kinda thought games were so we could have a chance while playing to, you know, forget that life sucks.

Unless they are using reverse psychology by making our game experience so miserable, we will be grateful for our relatively minor problems IRL.

I don't want to kill him though. His philosophy is more correct than the Chantry's or the Libertarian mages.

I think we need a walkthrough to full understand how to max out the Friendship/Rivalry of each Companion.

Maybe, but this doesn't seem like "potential" for loss, it seems more like "guaranteed" loss.

I think there is an option to avoit that. Probably if you reach a certain level of friendship/rivarly with Isabela and convince her to hand the relic to the Arishok

I CAN ONLY HOPE. Seriously. All of my fingers are crossed, and it's making typing awkward!

Near the end of the game? Sad... Looks like I won't be seeing Zevran for a while! Oh well.

Thanks so much for the answer, Klace! I really appreciate it. <3

That achievement probably comes from returning the relic, which I also don't want to do in fear of losing Isabela. Man I need a way out. Can I gain his respect without giving him the book and having Izzy run away?

There's no way you can give the relic to the Arishok if Isabela escape. So, for getting the achievement, you have to convince Isabela to give the relic, and if you convince her she probably remains with you.

I haven't taken it yet. But there's an option to give Fenris back to Danarius during his last personal quest.

Thats awesome, I need to make sure to take Fenris with me then. I wonder if any other companion can do the same. Or if you can learn enough about the Quen to inniate the Duel yourself.
