I believe Klace got banned for posting a video of the game. Even if its not a livesteam I think Bioware still considers it a very big no no.

Posting spoilers here is fine. If you people wish to spoil yourselves and complain about things you don't yet know the context to, knock yourselves out. So long as the details are kept contained to this particular thread, it's not an issue.

For someone to obtain the game prior to release-- somehow-- and then advertise that fact? Yeah. That's something different. Ban remains. As for the rest of you, I trust you'll keep yourselves contained until the game comes out and/or an actual spoiler forum opens up. Thanks.

Mr. Gaider. How is it illegal for a random person to pick up a game early? It isn't. It is Illegal to sell the game early, but not to purchase it early. You guy's may not like the fact that some store released it early but the fact remains its not his fault. Now thats assuming he has purchased it and did not hack some copy.

I never said he obtained it illegally. However he obtained it, suspicious or not, the game hasn't been released yet. If we shut down sites where people are posting content they shouldn't have yet, we'll certainly do so here on our own forums. I'm not going to argue about it further.

Because Meredith and the templars weren't willing to look past the so called mage "rage". She was censuring/rebuking mages and is obviously the paradigm of templar absolutism. FFS, listen to her alternative. She invokes the Right of Annulment to execute EVERY mage, regardless of whether or not they're innocent. How is that less malign than what Anders committed? Condoning genocide is something I can't agree with.

No.  You didn't advertise that you had a copy of the game.  By submitting footage, Klace basically said "Here, I have a copy of the game -- obtained by whatever means -- but the game isn't released yet!"  That is being dealt with zero tolerance.

Summarizing the information that he gave will not get you a ban I think.

I believe as long as you do it here and it's not an outside link, such as streams and videos, it will be allowed.  Edit: Rinji put it better than I did.


In regards to the Anders spoiler... this reminds me way too much of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and Oklahoma City.  But... we'll have to see ALL the circumstances leading up to it.

I know, right?  Punish Anders.  She just seemed to use his crime to condemn all mages -- that is NOT justice.  And Orsino ... you can see his cowardice as soon as she threw that Right of Annulment out.

There are some very evil groups in the real world that kill innocents and use any force necessary to effect a change.  For them and those that support them,  they're just doing what's right for them.  But it's not right for everyone and to most what they do is morally evil.  The same holds true for Abominations in Thedas,  I would imagine.

As for those using Meredith's actions as a defense...She's just as bad 100%.  But it doesn't justify Anders.

He just made things worse for the mages, imo. When people hear that a mage was responsible for the Chantry blowing up and the death of innocent people inside what do you think their reaction will be? They will just be even MORE wary of mages as a result of this.

Blowing up a building full of people to make a statement is reprehensible. I'm so sad that Anders went that far.
