Also, Varric is know as a storyteller. Hes basically the classic bard in the sense that he can fight but his passion is in story telling. Now if only we can get him an instrument to play. ;)

I am more interested in Cullen.

*is a Cullen fan*

He's a knight captain. Those who had the guide, or played the game, what was his place in all these?

Cullen was at the end in the video... He made the decision to let the Champion go after she killed Meredith.

I bet Sebastian has some sort of dark dirty secret too, though. We just haven't been able to find out what it is. yet.  No one is perfect in this game... NO ONE!!

Okay, so far, ALL the LI's have to have some dirty dirty betrayl or 'didn't see that coming' point, if sebastian doesn't have one, I call BS.

Is the only reason Fenris stayed behind because he's the one that Hawke romanced? If he stayed behind in Kirkwall, how come Cass doesn't interrogate him?

You REALLY think Fenris would've said anything? xD

This IS out stoic elf with the woobie eyes that goes as monoton as ever: 'Poke.' when you click on him during gameplay.

You have a good point there. But I still wonder why Fenris stayed behind... Or maybe I heard it wrong. He stayed behind in Kirkwall, or he was the only one to stay at the Champion's side?

I think what Varric is saying is that everyone left the Champion's side, except Fenris.

Mmm, I saw the video again and to me the Chantry isn't full of people. Probably templars and sisters died. Mind you, I am not saying that this makes Anders's action less worse, but I only want to know what really happens.
Anyway, as I already said I'll wait to judge Anders when I reach this point, just as I do with Loghain. They did both a terrible act, probably Anders's is worse, but Loghain let the king and thousand people died. With his action, Lothering was destroyed. A lot of other people died and the betrayal triggered the civil war. Loghain is a murderer like Anders, and I'll judge the latter as I judged the former. Depending on the playtrhough.

How is Anders's worse? Anders is directly responsible for the death of a few tens, Loghain is responsible for the death of thousands, including the king.

Anders triggers a worldwide war. For this is a little worse than Loghain. But I put the two on the some place.

Well that does happen, but you don't know if starting a war was his intention all along. On the other hand Loghain knew that after doing what he did everyone at Ostagar would die and the darkspawn would keep rampaging.

Anders said it loud and clear that his intent was to start a revolution. He said he knew that blood of innocents and mages and templars would all be on his shoulders. He didn't care.

Oh, I didn't know that <_<

But still, despite his actions, at least Anders has a good cause. Loghain didn't.

Just a question, is it this Chantry bombing scene that triggers the beginning of the endgame, or does that only happen later?

Sebastian had better be a decent person. I don't care if his fault is that he's chaste and you can't make the boom-booms with him, I just want him to be a decent person. Revenge on his family's murderers is fine, I can live with that. But I hope there's nothing insanely nuts about him like the other companions.

In my humble opinion, Loghain started a civil war to achieve a personal goal of attaining the throne, and in starting a civil war he weakened Ferelden's chance of defeating the darkspawn. Anders wanted a larger goal of ending the Chantry's hold over mages. I think Anders' actions, though misguided, are far more tolerable than Loghain's.

Strange though, from the first Klace's playthrough, it seems that you have the chance fo forgive Anders even if you side with the templars.

Honestly I'd just rather this was like DA:O where as long as you and your party members were friendly and you didn't do anything that went too much against their view, they'd just stick with you and help you.

Having all party members betray you at one point or other despite friendship/rivalry/romance is just depressing.

I'm pretty sure he said "Hawke" over and over, not "Poke."

It's not true, Fenris and Aveline remains with you if you sides with the mages with enough friendship/rivarly, and probably Merrill too. Anders and Seb are on the Loghain/Alistair situation, but I think that if you side with the mages Seb will remain if you kill Anders, and Anders maybe remains if you side with the templars

The latest trailer certainly seems to very much HINT he's possessed or at least influenced by a desire demon who constantly tells him he must kill everyone and everything that stands in his way. I think this will deal with how he betrays you or has one of those 'oh noe u didn't' moments.

It's one of the reasons I refuse to believe he is fully a chaste romance. Have you SEEN desire demons!?

Not really... it's not exactly common for your friends/loved ones to turn against you.

I wouldn't say possessed. Influenced, perhaps. Having two possessed characters in a party does seem like a bit much.
