Fenris stays with Hakwe if he's the romance option. It's not always like that.

One person friendship-romanced Fenris and got that ending.  We don't know what other possible outcomes are yet, do we?

I wanted to like Anders, I really did. The mages vs chantry conflict was a very grey one, and i didn't know which side to pick. But blowing up a chantry full of innocent people? I'm sorry but that is terrorism and i can't support it. No cause, no matter how righteous, justifies terrorism and killing of innocent people, not even oppressed mages.

Thankfull the game gives the player the option to choose what to do with him.

What if Anders dies in Awakenings and you import that save?  This is what I want to find out!

In a live stream I saw last night, there was a mage that was begging to not be made a tranquil. She said that she'd do anything. She was told that she'd do anything he wanted once she was one, anyway.

He's alive even in this case.

It's already been shown by Wynne that people can 'die' and come back to life if they are possessed by a spirit or demon. So, this explains how he brought back, regardless.

The destruction of the Chantry triggers the conflitc between mages and templars. It seems unavoidable.

Okay, I think I have figured out how the joining of Anders and Justice made even worse of the two characters.

Justice fuses with Anders, he is corrupted by the pain, frustration and anger Anders has held towards the circle and thus becomes Venegence. Venegence thens continues to corrupt Anders from within, making his feelings towards the Circle and the Templars worse which in turn, continues to feed Venegence's corruption.... which eventually leads to the chantry going KA-BOOM!

It's like a give and take thing. ._.

In the end I think the ends justify the means, and so evil Lady Mage Hawke will love Anders for it! =D

I think Anders is even better then Guy Fawkes in this case

Well...just out of curiosity, if you cannot kill Anders in your savegame import and prevent him from coming, what if you kill Leliana in DAO? Does she come back to life for DA2, also?
