I hope Leandra´s fate doesn´t depend on leaving the sibling at home. That feels more like random chance than choice and consequence. From some spoilers it also seems Hawke is a supporting character to the companions a good part of the game.

Leandra can still be saved apparently when she's kidnapped, you apparently just have to do the quest to find her immediatly rather than dawdle.

I think Klace said he did the quest as soon as he got it and she still died. I don't think it's avoidable, if you take your sibling to the Deep Roads. Someone said they left their sibling behind and Leandra was still alive, but they might not have been at the point in the game where that quest takes place.

I'm curious about this too. It's been said that Nathaniel (and Zevran) can fight by your side during the final battle. I just wouldn't want to miss out on him.

But there´s dialogue of Leandra later in the game. Did they decide killing her off for the drama (same as the first twin then)? I´m sick of that in comics, and now in videogames too?

Way back on 212 and again on 223 Claymation said she was never kidnapped from him and he was in act 2.  He Carver at home and carver joined the templars but Leandra was never kidnapped.

my apologies, the boards were messed up yesterday, so i couldn't  resolve that i was wrong^^ i was playing with a friend at that time and he was sure that the whole thing happens way earlier. so she died for me too. i'm only unsure if it's possible to solve the murder-plot before she even gets missing. i didn't follow that, sadly:(

We're not sure whether or not if this is due to siding with Templars or Mages at the end.

Varric won't. He's Hawke unofficial Biographer. The name of the book Varrics writing is called The true exagerated story of Hawke by Varric Tethras

Mages won't be viscount, because they are still apostates. I doubt you are able to completely sieze control of the city to the degree that would be necessary as an apostate.

Yeah I know varric won't but isabel a basically throws a fit if you dnt give her the book, merril high fives demons, Sebastian cries that you don't spank anders for destroying the chantry, and anders leaves if you say I didnt like that

Can someone tell me what happens to leandra (hawkes mum)

Does anyone know if "The First Sacrifice" quest is related to the death of Leandra? It starts with someone's wife going missing... and you don't catch the person responsible for her disappearance (they run away, leaving a trail of baddies to delay you)... but I wonder if those who had Leandra die on them finished this quest or not.
