I read a few things, I'm hoping they weren't major spoilers... I'm sure I'll hate what I just did seeing as how I have an eidetic memory.
In any case, I hate the 4chan site, and I'd much prefer a forum than that... that site is just pure crap, especially for all the pomp and popularity it has.
Huh?

"Flemeth talks to you through the amulet here and gives you advice. She makes reference to the Warden a bit here. She seems to guide Hawke and Hawke can believe her or be skeptical but the plot goes down the same path either way. It's a moral choice. Do you upgrade the amulets power like she tells you to, or do you not." In my opinion, BS

The amulet is an ancient elven artifact that allows the binding of spirits. Flemeth gave her soul to the amulet. (This is why she is weak enough for the Warden to kill in part 1. It's only touched on briefly. And what you kill in Origins is pretty much a meat sack. So Hawke runs around with the essence of Flemeth in an amulet, volatile and unknown.)
At the end of the game, Flemeth comes out of the amulet and posesses Meredith in an attempt to gain control of the Templars so she can opress Mages and be the only magic ruler left in Thedas.)
Thoughts?

I, on the other hand, think info about Flemeth is quite belieable:

That is rather odd, I would think it would be hard to Download the DLC before launch or that Somebody would be on the lookout for it.Sophiatje wrote...
I'm not so sure about this, I am for one wondering how he could have played with Seb.

/b/ is the part of 4chan you should avoid, the rest is kinda fine, to some degree, most of the trolling is on /b/

This seems quite reasonable, but two other posts (one I wrote earlier and one that talked about a "special power" that Hawke can use") don't seem real imo.
I guess we shall know the truth soon, since people will finish DA2 anyway in some hours.

Firstly because I don´t think that Flemeth could play such an important role and yet no reviewer up to date should as much as hint at it ? That is hard to believe.
Secondly several reviewers complained that the story is not epic enough for their taste, but helping the one of the most powerful beings of the setting to gain even more power only to defeat her in the end does sound pretty epic to me (and it would also be just the story of BG2:ToB again)

Agree. Most of the info he posted could be taken from the demo leak, just as we did. The only new thing is about Flemeth, and in the last posts the thing became completely unbelieveable. One of the post about Flemeth is the SAME of the last "leaked" DA2 version.

Well. The Piggyback or whatever guide that just came out actually said the end was epic. Maybe some of the reviewers didn't agree for whatever reason? Also, they DO keep saying "big twist!" about the Sundermount thing.

Hawke is a mage in the trailer, not a warrior.

Flemeth does play an important role in DA2. You think Bioware payed what must have been a huge load of money to get Kate Mulgrew back for her to appear in only 1 scene?Wittand25 wrote...
